Our restaurant is very flexible with booths and moving screen doors and we can accommodate private dining parties for any number of people between 2 and 80 or a single party of 150. The tables in our ground floor bar are available on a 'first come' basis and are not reservable.  The tables in our restaurant are reservable.

We have full disabled access.

Food and Drink Menus

Our focus is on quality ingredients and we have a growing reputation for our beef, pork and chicken, all sourced from farmers that we know and cooked on our Josper oven. Our menu divides between land and sea with daily specials from each. Everything we do from pâté starters to puddings is freshly prepared daily in our kitchen.

From noon until 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays we serve our weekend brunch menu in our restaurant (10am until 5pm in our bar) instead of our a la carte menu.

We have assorted pastries, French toasts, eggs benedict (with bacon, spinach, steak or salmon), salads, sandwiches, our own very popular Jones Baked Eggs (served in a terracotta pan with Chorizo, red peppers, shallots, white wine, tomatoes & rosemary, Butternut squash & Gruyère cheese, caramelised red onions, white wine, tomatoes & sage or Smoked haddock, spinach, Godminster vintage cheddar cheese sauce & nutmeg) and a selection of main course dishes including our steaks from our à la carte menu. 

Weekend Brunch Menu

As well as our full list of cocktails, wines and beers we also have our DIY Bloody Mary table in our bar at brunchtime on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our cocktails are currently receiving rave reviews which we are very proud about. Our suggested house list is below, but we are happy to make you whatever tickles your fancy.

We have over 90 wines which range in price from £19 to £95. Twenty eight are available by the glass or carafe. Twenty of these are listed on the menu below. We have eight others which change weekly.

Breakfast is served in our bar every Monday to Friday from 9am until noon.  As well as croissants and pastries, we have free range eggs on toast, Ginger Pig sausage sarnies, Ginger Pig bacon butties and a full English breakfast, with the option of including Franconian's smoked black pudding. All accompanied by fresh juices, delicious Black Sheep Coffee and wonderful Joe's teas.

A selection of dishes are available on our evening bar snack menu ranging from Cheese and Meat boards to Chilli con Carne and Medjool Dates Stuffed with Chorizo Wrapped in Prosciutto.

About the Jones Family Project

The members of the Jones Family take great pleasure in sharing a passion for food, drink and enjoying time with friends, colleagues and family. Set up by a group of friends, our new independent restaurant and bar provides the best of all three things. 

We take great care in sourcing the products we use in our restaurant and bar. Our meat comes from farmers and butchers we know and trust, and all our fish comes from a sustainable source. We apply the same rigorous research to drinks, and you will usually find beers and even gins in our bar that have been made within a few miles of us.

In our restaurant we serve our full a la carte menu every lunch from Monday to Friday and every evening from Monday to Saturday. At the weekend we serve a "steak and eggs" brunch menu from 10am - 5pm. We have an extensive good value wine list and over 20 of the wines on it are available by the glass or carafe. Our restaurant has varied intimate pockets of space and its own New York style long bar for dining and drinking.

Our ground floor bar is open from breakfast to midnight and allows you to work and play in the same space. During the day we serve full breakfast and fresh new daily salads & soups for lunch. In the evening we have a selection of bar snacks, 20 wines available by the glass, carafe or bottle, a selection of mainly local craft beers and fabulous cocktails.
