Catherine Zeta-Jones has listed her country mansion in Bedford, New York for $8.1 million.

According to Zillow, the Welsh actress, 44, had been staying at the sprawling 6,600-square-foot estate during her split from her 69-year-old husband Michael Douglas.

The couple, who married in 2000, made their first appearance together in April after announcing a trial separation in August of last year.

Things appear to be going well for the pair as Zeta-Jones seems to be ready to part ways with the beautiful Colonial-styled house.

The property, located in Westchester County, New York, features six bedrooms and six baths.

Zeta-Jones purchased the house, built in the 1930s, for $5 million in 2010, which she had renovated last year.

Included in the revamping was an impressive master suite closet addition, a guest house, and remodeling of the kitchen.

The luxuries aren't exclusive to just the home itself as amenities surrounding the mansion include gardens, a greenhouse, pool and spa.

Recently Michael Douglas's former wife, Diandra Douglas, launched a thinly-veiled attack on Zeta-Jones in an interview from her home in Majorca, which she still co-owns with Douglas.

Asked about rumours that Zeta-Jones had tried to buy her half share of the Spanish villa, Diandra retorted: ‘It’s not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof.

‘Why would someone who doesn’t speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? She doesn’t even come here much.’

And responding to a question about why she was ‘less visible’ on the Spanish resort than the Hollywood actors now, Diandra, 56, added: ‘That’s because I don’ t believe in showing off.
