She deserves it! Lea Michele treats herself to some relaxation at the spa after working on her second book

It is no easy feat but Lea Michele seems to have found a good work-life balance.

The actress gave herself a reward on Saturday after working hard on her latest book the day before.

Lea was spotted leaving a spa in Agoura Hills following a pamper session, and it had clearly done the trick.

The 27-year-old looked very relaxed as she headed home after some R&R, while dressed for comfort in a casual outfit.

Lea was showing off her shapely legs in a pair of black leggings, which she wore with matching flip flops and a white T-shirt under a denim jacket.

The Glee star had her chestnut brown locks tied in a simple bun and also sported a black headband, while covering her make-up free face with aviator sunglasses.

Lea completed her look with beaded and tasselled necklaces and a black leather handbag.

On Friday she tweeted: ‘Working on book number two today! Had so much fun writing #BrunetteAmbition, I'm so excited for you guys to read this next one!’

Her first book, which was part-memoir and part-how-to, in fact became a New York Times bestseller, and Lea announced in May that she would be penning a follow-up.

Lea’s show Glee will soon be coming to an end and is airing its sixth and final season next year.

But the brunette beaut has lots to keep her busy, because as well as working on her book she also has a guest role on Sons Of Anarchy.

She plays an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother named Gertie, who connects with Katey Sagal's character Gemma during a difficult time.
