And on Friday Mel Gibson put in two hours at a Los Angeles gym to make sure he stayed looking as trim as possible
The Expendables 3 actor was spotted after completing his workout holding a coffee, his guns pumped from his training session.

Wearing a black singlet and navy and turquoise blue shorts with a neon yellow stripe he carried what appeared to be a coffee in his hand.
The 58-year-old actor headed to a rejuvenation center after his workout.
The business, in Beverley Hills, according to information on a number of websites, offers a number of different treatments.

They include Botox, Juvederm and Restylane, as well as laser hair removal and non surgical face lifts.
The business, a medical spa, also offers NeoGraft hair replacement which is non-invasive with no scaring.
It is not known what treatment, if any, the actor had during his visit.

In a change of clothes, now sporting a striped T-shirt he joined the Scotsman who was dressed down in a sleeveless grey hooded top and pale coloured shorts.

Mel may have been getting some fitness tips from Gerard, who has recently had to commit to a tough exercise and wellness plan for the filming of two very physical movies.
He wrapped Gods of Egypt in Australia in June, and then flew to London to film the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.
Mel has possibly been feeling sensitive about his weight and appearance recently.
At a press conference for his latest film The Expendables 3 with Good Morning America on Monday, Gibson suddenly fell through his chair.
However his time training as an action star seemed to have paid off as he sprung straight to his feet quicker than someone would half his age.

Speaking at a press conference to promote The Expendables 3 in central London last week, Avi explained: ‘We are writing the final lines of the script, we've got lots of ideas about who is going to be in it. We're going to do it at the beginning of next year, that's all I can say about this movie right now.'
