Mel may have been getting some fitness tips from Gerard, who has recently had to commit to a tough exercise and wellness plan for the filming of two very physical movies.

He wrapped Gods of Egypt in Australia in June, and then flew to London to film the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.

Mel has possibly been feeling sensitive about his weight and appearance recently.

At a press conference for his latest film The Expendables 3 with Good Morning America on Monday, Gibson suddenly fell through his chair.

However his time training as an action star seemed to have paid off as he sprung straight to his feet quicker than someone would half his age.

It will be made up of a largely female cast, with a view to starting work on the project in 2015.

Speaking at a press conference to promote The Expendables 3 in central London last week, Avi explained: ‘We are writing the final lines of the script, we've got lots of ideas about who is going to be in it. We're going to do it at the beginning of next year, that's all I can say about this movie right now.'
