Buying, training and maintaining world class event horses is not a cheap thing to do.

But the families of Sofia Abramovich, Jessica Springsteen and Athina Onassis de Miranda aren't short of a buck or two.

All three are competing in the Longines Global Champions Tour at Horse Guards Parade in London, which started on Thursday and wraps on Saturday.

Sofia Abramovich put on a strong performance in the world-class jumping event on Friday.

Riding her chestnut horse Zovidius R, the daughter of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who is the owner of Chelsea FC, impressed the crowds with her talents.

Representing Russia, Sofia cut a sophisticated figure in a navy blazer, white jodhpurs and black riding boots.

Rocker Bruce Springsteen's daughter Jessica represented the U.S. with Lisona, a bay. She also had a second horse, Vindicat W, with her.

The 22-year-old cut a dashing figure in a white shirt and dark blue fitted jacket over tight white breeches that showed off her muscled legs, and black leather boots.

Before the event, she walked the course with her long brunette hair pulled back into, appropriately, a pony tail.

Meanwhile, Athina, possibly the wealthiest of the three as the heir to the Onassis fortune, also had two horses at the event, the grey AD Camille Z and AD Rose du Valon.

Representing Greece, the 29-year-old looked sharp in the figure hugging white breeches and black jacket.

The honey blonde was also seen walking the course in black leggings that showed off her slender figure.

She is ranked at 25 out of 82 in the competition with Jessica just behind her at 26. Sofia is unranked.

This is the 11th leg of the event which was won last year by Britain's Ben Maher.

Horse Guards Place, right in the heart of London, is where the Trooping of the Colour takes place on the Queen’s birthday.

On Wednesday evening Sofia and Jessica both made an appearance at the Longines Global Championships Tour party in London.

Sofia turned up to the star-studded event in a gorgeous white Grecian inspired maxi dress. She wore her luscious golden locks in loose waves, while she opted to keep her makeup to a minimum with a hint of blusher and a few swipes of black eyeliner.

Her father Roman has five children including Sofia with his second ex-wife Irina.

Jessica was joined by her proud parents Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa.

For the occasion, which was held at London's Claridge's Hotel, Bruce sported a black blazer over a crisp white shirt and blue cuffed jeans with a pair of black boots.

His musician wife Patti wowed as she flashed her legs in a short, black dress with strappy heels.

Their sporty daughter showed off her athletic physique in a sleeveless little black dress with peep-toe heels.
