She once said she was a big fan of sister Kylie Jenner's Tumblr blog and envied her sense of style.

And now it looks like Kim Kardashian has taken her admiration for her younger sibling's taste in fashion one step further as she donned a strikingly similar outfit to the 17-year-old in a recent photo shoot.

In an Instagram snap from Sunday the 33-year-old reality star can be seen with a short bob - much like Kylie - along with thigh-high boots and a long T-shirt. She captioned: '#kylieswag'

Kylie's Instagram is full of fashion-forward and sometimes moody snaps where she is often seen touching her hair and striking a sultry pose.

And one of her key looks of the moment includes thigh-high boots teamed with dark baggy tops or black skinny jeans slashed with rips up her legs and loose jumpers.

And although Kim 'fessed up to the Kylie imitation look, she also shared some other sneak peeks from the commercial shoot for Hype Energy drink.

Meanwhile, in an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians last year, Kim talked enthusiastically about Kylie's excellent fashion sense.

The curvy brunette said: 'Kylie has this amazing Tumblr that just, like, is such an expression of who she is,' and continued: 'What can I do to get on Kylie’s blog?'

She talked about her page so much in fact that sisters Khloé and Kourtney started to express concern over Kim's judgement.

'She literally Tumblr-stalks Kylie' said Khloe. Kim was also seen wondering what Kylie would think and wear during a meeting for the DASH line.

Kylie, however, seemed unimpressed. She said: 'Kim acts like my Tumblr is Vogue Magazine. I'm over it.'
