Class 6A
2013 record in parentheses
1. Olathe North (8-4) lost to SM East in the 6A semis and returns 18 starters, including RB Venus Triplett, who has had nearly 2,500 rushing yards in the past two seasons.
2. SM East (11-2) started 16 underclassmen in the 6A title game, as it finished second to Derby. Senior DL Kyle Ball returns.
3. Blue Valley (10-3) won the 5A title in 2013 and returns OL AJ Harris, who has made an oral commitment to Missouri.

5. Topeka (8-2) has a young, but big, offensive line, and returns most of its starters. QB-FS Alec Beatty had nearly 3,000 yards of offense in 2013.

5. BV West (8-4) lost in the semis to eventual champion Blue Valley. Returns 12 starters, including OL-DL Hunter Saulsbury.
