Kate Gosselin just can't seem to quit reality TV.

On Monday TLC announced they are bringing back the 39-year-old's show Kate Plus 8, which aired twice in June to good ratings. The program is set to return in December.

The series will cover the family's summer holiday in Boston. The blonde's ex Jon will not factor into the series that covers the lives of their children Cara, Mady, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, who are under the age of 12.

Not only will their New England vacation be one of the subjects of the show, but viewers will see Kate prepare her kids for their return of school.

Twins Cara and Mady will enter eighth grade, while the sextuplets – Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel – will go into the fourth grade.

When two episodes of Kate Plus 8 aired in June, Kate opened up more, saying that she never wanted to be seen as some kind of 'superwoman.'

The former Dancing With The Stars contestant also said that she does struggle 'behind closed doors.' The program averaged more than 2.1 million viewers.

She divorced Jon in 2009 after 10 years of marriage and has been spending a lot of time with her bodyguard Steve Neild ever since.

On Thursday RadarOnline reported Steve was seen with Kate at Plimoth Plantation museum in Plymouth.

An eyewitness told the news site that the grey-haired bodyguard provided a watchful buffer against curiosity seekers.

'We noticed Kate and her eight kids walking towards the entrance,' Jennifer Kelly told Radar. 'I had my camera in hand and when I went to take a picture of Kate and the kids, Steve Neild came around the car and ended up in the picture.'

Kelly continued: 'I was a bit shocked as he bolted around the corner. I said, "Hey, I know who you are" He said, "Who’s that?" And I said, "You’re Kate’s bodyguard, Steve." He replied, "Yup."

Jon & Kate Plus 8 debuted in 2007 when Jon and Kate were very much still married.

They started doing reality TV after the birth of the sextuplets; their first show was NBC's Home Delivery when they renovated their Wyomissing, Pennsylvania home to fit their new family.

They then did a Discovery Health show in 2005 called Surviving Sextuplets and Twins.
