It appeared as if things were getting serious between Chloe Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham as he attended the Hollywood premiere of her new movie, If I Stay, on Wednesday night.

However, on Thursday Chloe was spotted walking hand-in-hand in New York with rumoured boyfriend Julian Moraes, putting paid to speculation that she and Brooklyn could become the latest 'it' couple.

Chloe, 17, looked completely smitten with the handsome young college student, despite recent speculation linking her to the 15-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham.

What about Brooklyn: While Chloe Moretz is rumoured to be dating Brooklyn Beckham, she was spotted holding hands with Julian Moraes in New York on Thursday

Casually dressed in skinny black jeans, a T-shirt and matching jacket, Chloe left her short blonde hair loose around her shoulders as she strolled along holding hands with Julian.

Later the couple went for a ride on the Citi Bikes with a female pal.

Chloe and Brooklyn were rumoured to have been dating for the past three months but in a recent interview with the Sunday Times Magazine, the pretty blonde did her best to avoid confirming or denying the romance.

When the subject of her relationship with Brooklyn was raised, she responded: 'I don't even know what dating is at this point. It's all so stupid... why can't you just hang out with each other? Go to dinner if you want to? Why can't you go skateboarding if you want to go skateboarding with a guy?'

On the subject of skateboarding, the pretty blonde did reveal that Brooklyn fell off his board twice during their most recent outing, adding: 'But he was fine. He's very agile.'

Chloe, who has been busy promoting her upcoming movie If I Stay, also revealed that boys are often intimidated by her.

'Not only by my career, but also by me having to kiss guys on set,' she said.

'I hate male actors. They're just... urgh. Most of them are more vain than actresses. Every time I think they couldn't get worse, they do. It's crazy.'
