Anon Cards FundRaiser
Crypto ⇒ Cash! An Anon Card is similar to a traditional pre-paid debit Mastercard but will allow BitcoinDark users the ability to anonymously transfer BTCD to fiat. Anon cards will enable users to bridge the divide between Crypto and the Traditional Banking system. What this means is that you will be able to load your Anon card with BTCD and convert to fiat to make purchases or withdrawals. But more importantly, Anon cards allow users to keep personal information private. Traditional debit cards are directly linked to users through personal information that is required in order to receive them. However, with Anon Cards, no personal information is required to receive a card so your personal information will remain private, and your use of the card anonymous. Card fees will be ~3% per transaction. However, this is a small price to pay considering the benefits to the user and also when considering the fees associated with other means of crypto to fiat transfer. Your donation is also an investment. A NXT asset will be created for the cause and 1% of transaction fees will be paid out to asset-holders at a pro-rata percentage based on the size of your donation. Let's say you donate 100 BTCD to support the Anon Card cause. 1 million NXT will be raised to issue the asset. Let's then say at the time of conversion of the donation funds from BTCD to NXT the exchange rate is 20:1, so your 100 BTCD would convert to about 2000 NXT or approximately 0.2% of the donation total. Next, let's say Anon Card transaction volume reaches $1million. Of the $1million, 1% ($10,000) would have been distributed to asset holders. Based on your donation of 100 BTCD you would have received a total of $20. $20 doesn't seem like much, however $1million in transaction volume isn't much either, considering BTCD exchange volume reached $500,000 just a couple of weeks after release. James (jl777), the core developer for BitcoinDark, is also a developer for NXT. He will provide matching funds to the BTCD donation total or approximately 500,000 NXT. |
