Her chatty Side! Lily Collins flashes slim pins in denim hotpants and patterned kimono as she picks up coffee in New York

She may have just been heading out for a caffeine hit, but Lily Collins undoubtedly turned heads in her thigh-skimming look in New York City this week.

The British actress' toned legs were impossible to miss in her denim hotpants as she chatted away on her mobile phone while clutching a coffee.

The 25-year-old's ripped shorts gave her ensemble a casual air, while she remained on-trend in her patterned covered-up.

The Mirror Mirror beauty appeared to be deep in conversation after opting for a black kimono jacket.

The style appears to be a favorite of the star's, who wore a similar pastel-print number just last week when she spotted leaving her hotel.

Lily, carried a slouchy tan handbag on her shoulder, after polishing off her attire with a white Tee and matching flat sandals.

The Blind Side star, who kept her large tortoiseshell shades firmly on, shared a snap from inside her family's new business on Wednesday.

She commented: 'Resurrected oddities galore! Couldn't be prouder of my mom and her new store @waverlyondoheny. Exploration and imagination required...'

The film star was born in Guildford, Surrey, to musician Phil Collins and former American model Jill Tavelman, but moved back to Los Angeles with her mother when her parents split up.

Her English background no doubt helped Lily for her role in the upcoming romantic comedy Love, Rosie opposite Sam Claflin

The movie is based on the Cecilia Aherne novel called Where Rainbows end. 

Lily plays the title character in a story that follows two best friends through the ups and downs of love that could end up bringing them together.

Over the next 12 years, their lives change dramatically but the connection remains. The movie is slated for release on October.

She’ll also be showing off her British accent when she begins filming Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, based on the parody novel’s retelling of the classic Jane Austin tale.
