Kesha goes make-up free as she ditches a skimpy bikini for a Batman T-shirt and leggings to take a dip in the sea

Fans last saw her in a stunning and plunging white gown as she walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards at the weekend.

However Kesha couldn't have looked more different when she hit the beach on Wednesday without a scrap of make-up, and dressed in an unusual all-black outfit.

The 27-year-old hitmaker opted against a traditional bikini or swimsuit, and plumped for a T-Shirt and leggings instead before taking a quick dip in the sea.

The Blah Blah Blah crooner kept her tresses tied back in a knot, while dressed in a vintage Batman top and matching crop top underneath.

Her short trousers stuck to her slim pins as she emerged from the water before drying off with a white towel in the windy spot.

The previous week Kesha had posted a number of Instagram shots of her vacation, which saw her dressed in a plunging all-in-one with rainbow streaked locks.

After checking herself into rehab for two months for an eating disorder, Kesha appears to be back to her old self and at a healthy weight.

'Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music, the singer wrote. 'I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me.'

She caused a stir on Sunday when she provided a peek of her chest as she prepped for the awards show, with just her long tresses covering her bust.

'Just doesn't feel right NOT posting a partially nude pre vma look. #rainbownakedboob,' the Tik Tok singer captioned it, before wowing in an embellished frock. 

Kesha looked incredible in the gorgeous gown complete with a low-cut neckline and studded detail. The frock was from Australian fashion designer Johanna Johnson who is best known for specialising in bridal gowns.

The star had been nominated for Best Collaboration alongside Pitbull for their 2013 track Timber, but missed out on the gong.
