Perhaps Hailee Steinfeld wanted to blend in with the crowd on Thursday.

The 17-year-old actress sported a typical California girl look, as she joined actress Sophie Turner to see their latest film, Barely Lethal, at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The True Grit star appeared grunge chic in a short-sleeved black shirt and loose-fitted, high-waisted navy skirt, with a plaid red button-down wrapped around her waist.

And the brunette beauty complemented her look with subtle smoky eye make-up and a light pink blush and lip gloss.

Sophie, 18, somewhat coordinated, wearing a white blouse and distressed skinny jeans, also wrapping a plaid red blouse around her waist.

But the English actress, best known for starring on HBO's Game Of Thrones, dressed up her look with a pair of turquoise pointed-toe pumps.

Steve-O was also spotted at the screening, as he too stars in the film.

And Hannah Montana actor Moises Arias was seen welcoming Hailee with a great big hug, seeming to have come to support his friend.

Jessica Alba, Jaime King, and Samuel L. Jackson also star in Barely Lethal but weren't spotted at The Grove.

The adventure comedy is about a '16-year-old international assassin yearning for a "normal" adolescence fakes her own death and enrolls as a senior in a suburban high school,' according to IMDb.
