The star was helicoptered to hospital and has been recuperating ever since.

But he seems to have made a speedy recovery, and has been spotted out frequently in Los Angeles and elsewhere without the crutch he needed to walk.

Harrison strolled along the red carpet for The Expendables 3 premiere In L.A. on August 11 and also took a video of himself doing the ALS ice bucket challenge as he stood without aid on both legs in the garden of his home in Wyoming.

Filming actually only went on hiatus for two weeks so that director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm could re-organise the shooting schedule to work on scenes that didn't include Harrison.

But the entire cast and crew are now back at Pinewood, sources close to the project told EW.

Photography is set to continue until mid-fall on the much anticipated movie, which has a reported budget of $200 million.
