'Is this what Beyonce was singing about?': Lena Dunham posts disheveled selfie after looking like a Sixties siren

By Hanna Flint for MailOnline

On Thursday Lena Dunham looked every bit the Sixties siren.

Wearing her blonde locks in a beehive, with oversized purple sunglasses and a pattered shirt that looked straight out of an Austin Powers film, the actress and director was scoring major style points in Venice.

But on Friday morning, Lena asked a very good question when posting a disheveled selfie: 'Is this what Beyonce was singing about?'

Of course the GIRLS creator was referring to Queen Bey's track Flawless which includes the now infamous line 'I woke up like dis'.

It would seem that only Beyonce wakes up looking flawless, but of course Lena posted the picture of herself in jest because of the crazy display of her bedhead.

She also had smudged eyeliner under her eyes, having not cleaned off her make-up before hitting the sack, though Lena says it wasn't because she was inebriated.
