'Carmen lent us her bathtub': Bikini-clad Hilaria Baldwin does the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge while doing a handstand

Hilaria Baldwin couldn't find a bucket but she got the next best thing to do her part for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The 30-year-old yoga instructor had both her husband Alec Baldwin, 56, and their one-year-old daughter to help and Carmen even offered up her pink bathtub for the cause.

Hilaria's figure was fabulously toned in a coral two-piece swimsuit as she raised her body into an elegant handstand.

Beside her Alec balanced the half-filled baby bathtub between Hilaria's shins then, after counting to three, dumped the icy water all over his wife.

'We had no bucket so Carmen lent us her bathtub...to everyone who nominated me: here it is,' Hilaria wrote, adding: 'AB, you are up next #ALSIceBucketChallenge (Ps..stay tuned for the outtakes)'

Hilaria squealed with something like delight as the cold rush hit her.

Carmen sat nearby on her baby tricycle and watched the whole thing with a remarkably straight face.

In the accompanying video, Hilaria was shown trying to put off the inevitable freeze by saying: 'I'm just afraid of the cold water.'

'I nominate you afterwards, you have to do this after me,' Hilaria managed to rapidly say.

'We'll see,' was all Alec said.

The philanthropic effort has raised more than $100 million this month for ALS research and to raise awareness of the disease, which affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.

Meanwhile, Hilaria contributed another cosy snapshot of her breastfeeding Carmen in the back seat of a car with heels up and braced on the vehicle's ceiling.

'Emergency pit stop for a beverage & a siesta,' Hilaria captioned the photo.
