Keep it zipped! Rita Ora sports striking embellished black trousers as she steps out for late night at Chateau Marmont

By Jason Chester for MailOnline

She’s currently preparing for the release for her second studio album, but Rita Ora took time out on Friday for a late night at notorious Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont.

The 23-year-old singer was in high spirits shortly after arriving in another outlandish ensemble as the week drew to a close.

Rita – single following her split from Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris – opted for a white vest and black dress trousers that were afforded an eccentric flourish courtesy of their ankle to waist zip detail.

Black boots completed the look, while a knee-length grey jacket with emblazoned Chinese calligraphy gave it an added edge.

The singer was joined at Chateau Marmont by American actress and model Paz de la Huerta – who arrived in the company of a male friend.

Rose McGowan was also in attendance on the night, and she caught the eye in high-waist skinny jeans and black ankle boots as she sashayed inside.

Rita is still on a high following her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she performed with Iggy Azalea.

Speaking to The Sun, the singer admitted she was keen to make her performance with the Australian rapper as racy as possible.

'I said to Iggy we should make out on stage and kiss during our performance,' she said. ‘However, she told me that would be crazy because that's already been done.'

Explaining where her idea to smooch the blonde star came from, she added: 'Britney Spears and Madonna kissing was my favorite VMA performance ever.'

AS she prepares for the release of her new, yet to be titled album the focus has shifted to her split and subsequent spat with Calvin.

Referring to the public interest in their relationship, Rita said: 'People forget that I'm a 23-year-old girl. What do normal girls my age do?

‘They're at uni, dating. It's been difficult but it takes more than a few words to knock this girl out.'
