He's an action hero reprising one of his most successful roles in the upcoming Mission: Impossible 5.

So it's no wonder Tom Cruise was given a warm reception as he arrived for filming in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday.

The 52-year-old actor waved jovially from the backseat of a glossy BMW, continuing to acknowledge his fans as he disembarked from the vehicle.

He kept it casual in a grey T-shirt while shielding his eyes behind dark shades during the sunny trek.

On Thursday, Tom was pictured filming at the Vienna Opera House in Austria, alongside co-star Rebecca Ferguson, the film's plot clearly spanning a number of gorgeous exotic locations.

He looked dapper in a stylish suit while Rebecca initially kept warm in a cosy dressing gown, before taking it off to reveal a glamorous green evening gown complete with a purple sash.

The following day, Tom practised performing a stunt in which he shimmies down a rope from the roof of the opera house, with a lady clinging to him, according to the Sunday Express.

However, both he and the stuntwoman were supported by harnesses and shared a good laugh while dangling in mid-air.

This latest instalment of the popular action adventure film will see Tom, who plays agent Ethan Hunt, produce the movie along with JJ Abrams and David Ellison.
