She's the proud 'mother' of two dogs.

But Anne Hathaway may well be thinking about extending her family, unable to stop herself smiling
at a woman pushing a baby stroller as she left her home in Brooklyn on Thursday.

The willowy 31-year-old was on her way to the set of hew new movie, The Intern, but she looked more properly dressed for a workout in her sporty ensemble.

The smiling actress donned a black vest with spaghetti straps, skintight lurid pink and purple exercise pants and bright pink and red trainers.

She pulled her brunette tresses up into a high top knot and carried a black and blue gym bag,
a takeaway coffee and a newspaper as she strolled along the street in her celebrity must-have sunglasses.

In The Intern, Anne plays Jules Ostin, the founder of a fashion based e-commerce company who hires Robert De Niro's character as an intern to run her errands.

Some 40 years older than his boss, the widower initially meets resistance from Jules before she learns to respect him and what he has to offer.

Directed by Nancy Meyers, the film is slated for a September 25, 2015 release.

Though her Oscar-winning career is keeping her plenty busy, Anne and her husband Adam Shulman are fast approaching their two-year wedding anniversary, having tied the knot on September 29, 2012 in picturesque Big Sur, California.

They are the parents of two rescue dogs, chocolate Labrador Esmeralda and newly rescued puppy Edward.

Edward's arrival came after much careful consideration on the couple's part.

'They were looking for a companion for Esmeralda,' explains Teri Austin, president of The Amanda Foundation, the Beverly Hills rescue where the Shulmans adopted the pup in June.
