It wasn't just any ordinary dinner date for Gary Lineker and his wife Danielle on Tuesday evening.

The loved-up couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary at the celebrity favourite restaurant Chiltern Firehouse in London.

The former England football player and his wife arrived hand-in-hand in a taxi, with Danielle looking a little worse for wear as she rested her head on Gary’s shoulder.

However, the beautiful star managed to steal most of the limelight with her striking good looks and fierce sense of fashion style as she donned a tailored navy blue jumpsuit.

Proving their relationship is still going strong, Gary, 53, took to Twitter to share a picture of his wife on their wedding day.

On Monday the lovebirds cut a stylish figure as they stepped out for a bit of shopping at the very upmarket area of Sloane Square.

The 35-year-old took the opportunity to showcase her toned and trim pins in a black and white retro style mini-skirt, which she teamed with a matching oversized jumper.

She accessorized her daytime attire with a pair of black leather ankle boots, large sunglasses and a large designer handbag, which was casually slinked over her shoulder.

Clearly enjoying his recent shopping spree, he tweeted a picture of the pair and wrote: ‘Goatee for sale. Almost new. One careful, slightly ageing owner. No part-exchange.’

Meanwhile, the Welsh beauty recently opened up about her relationship with Gary to the Belfast Telegraph.

She told the newspaper: ‘We've been together seven years now and it sounds a bit of a cliche, but he's the ying to my yang.

‘I've got Italian blood so I have a temper and can be a bit highly strung and an ‘all-or-nothing' person, whereas Gary's so cool and a constant calming influence who puts everything into perspective. His maturity is a helpful balance.’
