Giving up already? Hilary Duff dresses down in another grunge-inspired ensemble after announcing the delay of her new album's release
She was stepping out in style, as she geared up to release her latest single Chasing The Sun.
But Hilary Duff recently announced she's delaying the release of her 2014 comeback album.
And along with the unfortunate news, it seems the 26-year-old doesn't feel as much pressure to doll up, opting for a grunge-inspired look as she headed out in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The mother-of-one was wearing a tight black blouse and loose light grey shirt which she knotted above her hips.
Hilary paired her casual tops with cropped charcoal leggings and patterned high-top tennis shoes.
And she had a purple plaid blouse wrapped around her waist, as a messenger bag dangled from her shoulder.
In case the temperature dropped, the aviator-clad blonde beauty kept a tan jacket nearby.
Comfortable: The star was clad in layered shirts, leggings and high-top sneakers

Meanwhile, the Come Clean crooner recently announced that her scheduled October 14 release date of her first album in seven years has been delayed.
She posted an apologetic tweet on Friday, reluctantly informing her 4.5 million followers that the launch has been postponed.
'Guys, hate to break this news but the album won't be out in October... You will have to wait a few more months. Love all the excitement tho.'
Building the anticipation: Hilary recently announced that she had pushed back the release of her album
The news came as Hilary had already begun a promo campaign for her new single, All About You, which came out as a digital download on August 12 and hit mainstream radio stations last week.
The track is the second release from her as-yet-untitled album, the first offering, Chase The Sun, having come out on July 29.
She has been working hard on the album since January, when she split from husband Mike Comrie, and she told a Billboard podcast earlier this month that the event had influenced the recordings.
Hilary said: 'In the beginning, the album was a lot heavier and a lot darker, because I had to get that out. Once I did get that out, a lot of fun came.’
Still smiling: Though she could have disappointed her fans, the singer put on a happy face
