Not a Bad Judge of fashion! Kate Walsh showcases her cleavage in low cut shirt on relaxing day out in Los Angeles

By Helen Zhao for MailOnline

She will soon be gracing screens as a raunchy wild woman who just happens to be a sitting adjudicator.

And it seems Kate Walsh's saucy character in Bad Judge is rubbing off on her after she she took the plunge in a very low cut top in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress displayed her ample charms as she left a beauty shop in the trendy West Hollywood area.

She also sported a denim button-up with cuffed blue jeans, while strutting her stuff in dainty black heels.

Kate, 46, shielded her eyes in cat-eye shades with blue frames and carried a large white purse.

According to Bad Judge's synopsis, she plays a ‘hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman who plays with the law, and whose life on the edge is constantly in balance as she also happens to be a judge in the Criminal Court system.'

The comedy, which hits screens next month, certainly has good pedigree, as it is produced by superstar funnyman Will Ferrell and is being made by his Gary Sanchez Productions company in partnership with Universal Television.

Kate has said she was intrigued with the idea of playing someone who - in the first four pages of the script - wakes up with a hangover, gets a pregnancy test, and is revealed to be a judge.

‘It was super appealing,’ she claimed during a Summer TV Press Tour Q&A in July.

Kate defended her character, Rebecca Wright, when questioned about her reckless and promiscuous behaviour – alluding to Dr. Gregory House from Fox series House.

‘You were never waiting for that guy to get married and have kids. "I just wish he would settle down" — you never had that wish for him!’ she said.

She's someone 'that we love to watch do things that we don't necessarily think the people in their position should do,' chimed in executive producer Anne Heche.

Executive producer Liz Brixius has said she 'would prefer Bad-Ass Judge' as the title as the main character is not actually incompetent at her job, which is certainly a rarity in her profession.
