She recently lamented growing old, claiming to worry about her wrinkles.

But Alexa Chung looked nothing but youthful as she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.

And if there's one thing the 30-year-old model certainly can't dispute, it's her much-envied sculpted physique, which she can attribute in part to ballet lessons.

The British beauty was seen leaving her dance class on Tuesday, carrying pink satin ballet slippers around her neck.

Looking summery and chic while displaying her long, lean figure, Alexa sported what appeared to be a tight black bodysuit or leotard under a pair of distressed denim Daisy Dukes.

And on her feet, the British Vogue contributing editor donned strappy black sandals.

The It girl looked carefree and relaxed, with her brunette locks flowing down in loose waves and eyes concealed with black sunglasses.

The star was also carrying a black vintage-inspired shoulder bag and a separate cream canvas tote to hold other belongings.

Though she looked incredible, the star recently opened up to Stylist magazine about having skincare hang-ups, as she nears her 31st birthday in November.

'Sometimes I'm like, "Oh my god, I'm going to get a facelift," but I don't think I really will,' the TV personality told the publication.

'I'll just live in the present and enjoy my remaining youth.

'I do worry about my skin though,' sh continued. 'I look in the mirror and I'm like, "Oh hi wrinkles." But everyone I love - like [singer-songwriter] Patti Smith or [actress] Charlotte Rampling - has wrinkles and they still look beautiful.'
