The day started early for Kim Kardashian as she departed her lavish hotel suite on Wednesday morning – hours after a show-stopping appearance at the GQ Awards.

The 33-year-old TV personality was leaving husband Kanye West and their 15-month-old daughter North behind while she ventured out for an interview with Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw.

Kim caught the eye in a busty monochrome jumpsuit that accentuated her already prominent cleavage as she made her way out of Mayfair hotel Claridges ahead of her chat with the popular breakfast show presenter.

Following a late night out at London’s Royal Opera House the previous evening, Kim looked fresh and well rested as she greeted those who had waited outside Radio One studios in anticipation of her arrival.

The socialite, in the UK to promote her forthcoming Kardashian Kollection range for Lipsy, indulged her placard waving fans with selfies before making her way inside.

Just hours earlier Kim sent jaws dropping when she stepped out for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in a daring custom-designed haute couture gunmetal skirt by Ralph & Russo, with an Atsuko Kudo latex bodysuit with Tom Ford heels.

Accompanied by rapper Kanye, who couldn't keep his hands off her, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians was presented with the Woman of the Year award by GQ's editor Dylan Jones.

Due to a last-minute change to the running order, she was inadvertently handed the award for Solo Artist of the Year, won by Pharrell Williams, but the gaffe went unnoticed until she got backstage.

Realizing she’d been handed someone else’s prize, a surprised Kim told journalists: ‘It says it’s for Pharrell. I was taking pictures with it – I hope no one notices.’

The incident was a recurring theme on the night after a mix-up with award distribution at the annual ceremony saw numerous winners walk away with the wrong trophy.

A source told MailOnline that host James Nesbitt made light of the error, telling those in attendance: 'They changed the running order at the last minute, so a few of you winners might find you have someone else’s award in your hand. If you want the correct award, go and speak to (GQ editor) Dylan Jones.'
