Every inch the leading lady, Denise Van Outen put her best foot forward on Thursday evening as she left London's Arts Theatre following a performance of her one-woman show.

The 40-year-old actress, dancer and singer stepped out in an asymmetric white mini-skirt as she headed to her chauffeured car.

Clearly happy with how the show, Denise flashed her pearly whites as she waved at waiting photographers while posing for a few pictures.

Going for laid back glamour, Denise teamed the mini-skirt with a suede green patchwork long sleeved jumper.

Donning several midi-rings, the mother-of-one co-ordinated the jumper with a matching YSL bag.

Completing her look with a pair of strapped tan heeled sandals, Denise wore her blonde hair down in loose waves.

Written by Denise and Terry Ronald, who penned Dannii Minogue's autobiography My Story and acclaimed novel Becoming Nancy, the show features a mix tape of songs from the '80s and '90s.

Nearing the end of the 24 performances, Denise will bring her latest venture to a close on September 13.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast recently, she said: 'You know what, I had a lot of funny stories from over the years that I wanted to use.

'But it is easier to have that mask and play a character... I can do more with it then, I can elaborate on personal experiences.

'There's definitely a lot of me in it, the emotional side of it, it's quite touching, as much as it's funny.'
