She has opened up about her heartache after she was unceremoniously dumped by Aussie pop star Cody Simpson.

But it appears model Gigi Hadid already has a new man in her life in the form of another pop heartthrob - Joe Jonas.

The pair were spotted enjoying a stroll around New York's SoHo on Thursday, amid reports they have begun dating.

Gigi and Joe looked at ease in each other's company as they enjoyed the early autumn sunshine, with the 19-year-old beauty looking every inch the catwalk queen in a sheer white T-shirt, PVC leggings and mirrored sunglasses.

Meanwhile, the former Jonas Brothers hunk seemed to be focusing on fitness, and turned up for the daytime date in all-black gym gear.

The 25-year-old singer was first rumoured to have grown close to Gigi - daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster - last month after she posted a picture of them together on Instagram.

Alongside the cosy black-and-white snap, Gigi marked his milestone by writing: 'happy birthday brotha.'

Both stars have recently come out of relationships: while Gigi split from Cody in July, Joe's two-year romance with graphic designer Blanda Eggenschwiler ended around the same time.

A rep for the hunk confirmed the news at the time, saying :'Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways.

'The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another.'

Gigi has also gone into detail of her break-up from Cody, insisting he wanted to end things due to his hectic touring schedule.

She explained to WWD: 'I love Cody to death and he loves me. He needed his time to focus on his music and he’s the one who broke up with me. We’re still best friends and I’ll always respect him and support his career.'

He admitted: ‘I have a best friend in Gigi. We’ve been together and we’ve been broken up for certain reasons and we’ve been back together and we’ve broken up again because we’re always in different places working.

‘I will always have the most incredible amount of respect for her that will never fade. I’m sure things will rekindle one day.'
