And Arnold Schwarzenegger lived up to his billing as he hopped into a sportscar before speeding off into the distance after visiting his office in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Austrian Oak looked as cool as they come as he drove away in his Bugatti Veyron, which is worth an eye-watering $2 million.

Of course, with an estimated net worth of $300m, this is but a drop in the ocean for the former Governor of California.

The 67-year-old was looking in good shape for his age, with his biceps and chest visibly bulging through his casual blue polo shirt.

A shocking report claimed Maria had an affair with his own campaign strategist, flaunting the relationship in front of staffers five years before her husband's affair with the family maid was exposed.

She debuted boyfriend Matthew Dowd last month at her cousin Bobby Kennedy Jr.'s wedding - introducing him to the family at the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, and according to initial reports, the two have been seeing each other for less than a year.

Matthew, now a political analyst for ABC News, denied having an affair with Maria in 2006 - and told the Post that they were just 'good friends' at that time.
