They might have both been married to legendary rocker Mick Jagger, 71, but that hasn't stopped Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall from becoming good friends.

Jerry even invited Mick's former flame to the afterparty of current boyfriend, Armond Leroi's book launch for his new title, The Lagoon: How Aristotle Invented Science.

Held at Fortnum and Mason's in London, Jerry spent the evening laughing and joking with Bianca - proving that there are no hard feelings between the pair whatsoever.

Mick's first wife Bianca, 69, looked smart and demure in a white pant suit and long drop earrings; a pair of reading spectacles hung down her chest.

Looking equally classy, Jerry donned a blue Chanel suit and handbag, metallic taupe kitten heels and three strings of pearls.

At 58, Mick's second divorcee looked wonderful in her elegant ensemble.

Unlike many of her maturing contemporaries such as Madonna, the the Texan supermodel-turned-actress has eschewed plastic surgery and says she prefers to age gracefully.

Jerry hosted the after party alongside her new partner Professor Armond Leroi, whom she recently went public with.

Prior to the glitzy affair at the Queen's favourite department store, the American model's date gave a lecture at the Royal Institute last night to launch his new book.

Clearly Jerry has opted for a very different kind of man than her rock'n'roll bad boy ex-husband.

Mick started seeing Jerry while he was still married to Bianca, whom he had his first child with, Jade. Jerry reportedly inspired the Rolling Stones' classic song Miss You.

Divorcing Bianca in 1978 and then tying the knot with Jerry twelve years later in 1990, the rock legend went on to have four more children.

However history soon repeated itself, and allegations of numerous Jagger infidelities helped drive the couple apart for good. Mick and Jerry split up in 1999.

Moves like Jagger: Bianca met Mick in 1970 and they were married a year later in France. After giving birth to her daughter, Jade, their relationship soon soured and they divorced in 1978.

Rolling Stone: Last night Bianca Jagger also appeared at the Red magazine Woman of the Year awards where she hung out with her ex-husband's bandmate Ronnie Wood, 65, and his third wife Sally Wood, 36
