Twinsies! Minka Kelly and Mandy Moore enjoy lunch in almost identical ensembles

Minka Kelly and Mandy Moore became walking fashion faux pas on Thursday as they headed out for a bite to eat in Los Angles, California.

The actress best friends showed just how much they have in common, wearing almost identical outfits.

Stopping in at the celebrity loved Lemonade cafe, Minka, 34, and Mandy, 30, elicited more than their fair share of double takes, not because they were famous, but because they appeared as though they had tried to dress the same.

While no doubt not by design, the two ladies both wore cropped light denim jeans with loose fit white T-shirts.

And the matching was not done there, with the pair also wearing their long bob haircuts in similar side part styles.

Added extras: The only really major difference between their ensembles was that Mandy donned a V-neck T-shirt, a pair of red ballet flats and carrying a leopard print bag

The only really major difference between their ensembles was that Mandy donned a V-neck T-shirt, a pair of red ballet flats and carrying a leopard print bag while her Friday Night Lights pal wore a crew neck top and cream ankle booties.

Perhaps realising they already looked a little silly, the friends appeared to play up their similarities, walking in sync and even turning their heads at the same time as they were photographed.

Besides committing a fashion don't, the twins for the day clearly enjoyed their catch up lunch, smiling away as they left the cafe.

Minka was also not done with her meal yet, however, taking one of the eatery's famed lemonades to-go.

While in a good mood, just before lunch Mandy paid tribute to Joan Rivers on hearing of her passing.

The Walk To Remember star took to Twitter to express her sadness: 'RIP, #JoanRivers.... What a spirited force, trailblazer and beacon for all things funny. Such a loss.'
