He's a high-rolling hip hop mogul who's used to living the good life, so it's no surprise that only the best would do for Kanye West on his trip Down Under.

Arriving in Perth on Thursday the Gold Digger singer checked into the penthouse suite at Perth's Hyatt Regency hotel, where Justin Bieber is rumoured to have stayed while in Australia on his tour last year.

While wife Kim Kardashian and his baby daughter North are yet to arrive in the country, it's likely the singer would be keen to make sure his family have access to all the creature comforts they're used to.

Situated in an enviable position overlooking Perth's picturesque Swan River the palatial five star hotel boasts unrivaled views of the city, and prides itself on having the largest rooms in the city's central locale - something that would certainly appeal to the affluent couple.

Just twenty minutes from the airport and less than a ten minute drive to Perth Arena where the Yeezus star will perform on Friday night, the hotel's unrivaled location would no doubt have been a deciding factor in where to stay.

Meanwhile fitness advocates Kim and Kanye would no doubt enjoy the hotel's facilities, which boast a 20 metre heated rooftop pool, the largest in the city, plus a luxurious gym and Rose Moon spa.

With its family centric atmosphere the hotel would also suit his wife Kim Kardashian and the couple's one-year-old daughter North if they join him for this leg of the tour.

The celebrity power couple will undoubtedly have their pick of the best and finest accommodation the country has to offer.

The 33-year-old socialite and her new husband will also to head to Adelaide, Melbourne and then Sydney, where Kim will make an appearance at Parramatta Westfield on behalf of her Kardashian Kollection clothing line, before the pair finally finish up in Brisbane on 15 September.

When the famously curvaceous beauty was last in Sydney, she was offered every possible creature comfort when she shacked up in the opulent Sheraton On The Park in the city's central business district.

The most spacious of their rooms, the Royal Suite, sets visitors back a mind-boggling $5,000 a night and includes private terraces that overlook Hyde Park.

Meanwhile, Sydney's Intercontinental Hotel was home to fellow Hollywood heavyweights Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when they were in the country filming the actresses' second directorial endeavour Unbroken in 2013.

Kim may prefer to rent a more private retreat for her young family's comfort however, and take example from Leonardo DiCaprio who spent a number of months in the country while filming The Great Gatsby in 2011.

The Oscar-nominated actor enjoyed the height of luxury in a $15,000 a week property complete with seven bedrooms, a tennis court and private jetty in the exclusive water-front suburb of Vaucluse.

Private homes could also be a good option for Kim and Kayne when they head to Brisbane and Adelaide, with property website Pure Locations offering a number of spectacular living options available for short-term rent.

Spacious homes can start from just $1,000 to $2,000 a day with a spokesperson telling Daily Mail Australia that it would be a homey option for the high-profile couple should they wish to momentarily escape the media pack.

'The properties are set up as a home away from home so [Kim and Kanye] would have more of a personable experience.

'They'll also have complete privacy and be able to relax by the pool without the concern of being overlooked.'
