Red and redder! Cara Delevingne offers a glimpse of her skimpy underwear... while displaying painful looking graze during New York photo-shoot

She turned heads after taking a tumble at the GQ Awards on Tuesday evening, but while the results of that fall were on show two days later, so too was Cara Delevingne's red underwear.

The 22-year-old model, currently in New York for Mercedes-Benz fashion week, was centre-stage at a photo-shoot on Thursday when her breezy white dress lifted - revealing a pair of skimpy red undies.

Unfazed, accomplished musician Cara later entertained the crew by parading across the set with a mandolin.

Looking tanned and happy, Cara, 22, was in good cheer on the day – but the painful looking graze on her right knee, the result of a tumble on Tuesday evening, was highly evident while she prepared for another round of photos.

The model’s appearance in New York follows a lively night out with pals Jourdann Dunn and Daisy Lowe at the Royal Opera House, where Kim Kardashian was named Woman of the Year at the GQ Awards.

Her spirited outing included a playful tussle with designer Jonathan Saunders that ended with them taking a tumble after one too many drinks.

She kicked off the fashion shoot showing off her long legs in a short yellow skirt and revealed her toned midriff wearing a black crop top underneath a plaid blue jacket.

The supermodel strutted her stuff on her makeshift cat walk styled in a white fedora, gold body chain and black loafer shoes.

In a separate shot, Delevingne changed her skirt for another casual ensemble wearing a semi-sheer graphic crop tee and high waisted denim shorts.

While she kept her blonde locks natrually styled around her shoulders for most of the shoot, the clotheshorse was seen giving her best high fashion pose in a grey dress that featured stripes of red and neon yellow. 

After she wrapped the impromptu shoot, Delevingne was clad in tiny denim Levi shorts and cropped white jacket.

Underneath her long sleeved top, she revealed her tiny black bra and accessorized her outfit with a gold body chain and velvet purple sneakers.

She concealed her eyes with an odd pair of gold rimmed metallic sunglasses while hanging out with friends during the outing.
