But Naomi Watts swapped her track pants for a sleek red carpet ensemble as she stepped out at the St Vincent premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada on Friday.

Stunning in a racy black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and cut-out design, the 45-year-old actress showed off plenty of skin during her appearance at the Princess of Wales theatre.

Sporting a pair of metallic silver heels, the actress added some further sass to her red carpet strut.

She accessorised with a pair of sparkly earrings and a sleek metallic clutch and even clutched onto her own umbrella when the weather turned a little grim.

Mixing up her look, the movie star added a rock chic edge to her beauty regime, sporting a smoky eye shadow while her blonde tresses were pulled back in a voluminous ponytail.

Naomi stars in the dramatic film St Vincent alongside the likes of Melissa McCarthy and Chris O'Dowd.

Earlier in the day Naomi was spotted enjoying a stroll in Soho, New York.

Sporting a relatively more casual look, the actress exuded confidence in a pair of blue jeans teamed with a white T-shirt.

The British-born Australian star stepped out without her hunky beau of 10 years, actor Liev Schreiber, with whom she has two sons, Sasha, eight, and Samuel, seven.

Meanwhile, Naomi is the latest to team up with Tommy Hilfiger to help women living with breast cancer.

She has signed on as global ambassador for the U.S. brand's limited-edition handbag for Breast Health International, which aids the charity's Fund For Living.

It will be available from the brand's website from September 25 and from certain Tommy Hilfiger stores globally from October 1.
