Karlie Kloss wows in black dress during Jason Wu fashion show after sexy outing in blue crop top and trousers
Karlie Kloss captured the spotlight twice in one day, but then she is a world-famous supermodel.
The blonde beauty was the ultimate all-American girl as she modelled for Jason Wu's show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City on Friday.
Karlie, 22, shone in a regal and shimmery black trench dress that fluttered to her shins and, thanks to an opening in front, allowed views of her toned legs as well.
Easygoing: Karlie Kloss made looking beautiful so easy as she walked the James Wu fashion show following a more casual walk in crop top and matching trousers on Friday
A textured black belt cinched in her waist and gave the overall look some shape, and sleeves bunched up to her elbows added a casual feel.
Her hair was slicked back in a no-fuss ponytail so as not to distract from the designer's creation as she strolled down the runway in ankle strap heels that seemed cut from the same fabric as her belt.
Earlier in the day, the Victoria's Secret angel opted for a sexy, easygoing ensemble as she went about her business in the Big Apple.
Nice wrap: The 22-year-old stunner modelled a shiny trench dress in very dark silky fabric during the designer's Spring presentation
In the spotlight: Karlie didn't miss a beat or a step in that casual yet elegant dress with slim belt
Saving best for last: The Victoria's Secret angel arrived towards the end of the model line that also featured interesting florals
Karlie showed off her trim midsection in a short-cropped blue top that was matched with its other half - a billowy pair of blue trousers.
The slender beauty wore her shades perched on top of her head and smiled at passers-by.
By 1PM showtime, Karlie slipped into a glamorous yet unattainable aura that could only be breached by the designer himself.
Inspiring: Designer James Wu said his creations such as this were inspired by actresses Diane Kruger and Charlotte Rampling
Plunging necklines: One model showed off a navy gown with a very deep neckline and a high-cut slit in the flowing skirt
Jason Wu said strong women provided the inspiration behind his Spring 2015 collection, namely actresses Diane Kruger and Charlotte Rampling.
'They have impeccable style, I imagined them in every single piece,' the Taiwanese-Canadian fashion designer, who is based in NYC, told The Associated Press.
Wu's running theme was American sportswear with a glamorous twist blending casual looks in rich fabrics.
Silk organza, suede, leather, silk tweed were the fabrics seen on Friday, while the fancier selections boasted a shiny, sparkly veneer.
Navy belle: Karlie enjoyed a sunny walk in NYC ahead of the runway show and got a chance to display those taut abs too in her matching blue ensemble
