Breaking conventions, you did a right thing by allowing Pranay sharma
the 'issue editor'.And Pranay did a splenderous 'bicycle click' by giving us
in a platter the chronological events in world football. Outlook outwitted
even the better sports magazines by scoring goal.
The end result is the issue became a collectors item. Excellant!!!

I write this to show the types of balances in an economy. This is generally unknown, it appears.

Dharma is not yet rising in the economy. It is still false and the economy will crash again unless the economic balances are understood by a larger number of people. If the economy crashes Indian civilization also will crash. Gaithly and Rajan talked about the economy. This is exactly like a chicken consulting with a fox! Modi's concept of the economy is all wrong. He talks about item 3 below ONLY.

First of all a money creator has NO need for taxes. The federal govt does not use taxes to fund anything. The states do because for them it is major source of income. The centre can increase subsidies and get rid of ALL taxation. No more filing taxes, a big waste of time.

Easy solutions.

1. Learn algebra.

2. Learn economic balance for centre: FISCAL DEFICIT- TRADE DEFICIT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS

3. For states, TAX + NET STATE EXPORT+ FEDERAL SUBSIDY + STATE DEBT = STATE EXPENSE including debt payments

4. Items 2 and 3 are different, DIFFERENT!

5. USE more fiscal deficits = BHAGYALAKSHMI for funding all items in rupees.

shown by data in

http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

Taxes do not fund the federal govt. Federal govt is a money creator and created money is the DEFICIT. The percentage increase in deficit = percent increase of Net savings. Spend 5 times the deficit to grow net private savings by the same factor = 5. If this does not generate inflation, try 6,7,8....in sequence till you are satisfied. Fpr heaven's sake don't cut the deficit, the life blood of the economy. If you want proof go

Federal taxes are not used to fund anything. The federal govt CREATES money ad hoc. Taxes are used to increase the gap between the rich and poor at the behest of the plutocrats who like the gap to increase. That is also called "broadening the tax base". I call it greed and ADHARMA.

Inflation is caused by removal of money from the people economy. Taxes and hoarding are the main culprits. Interest rate control alone is not effective. Quuantitative easing is a fraud. Put more money into infrastructure funding, and create wealth is the only way out of inflation. As a bonus you build wealth.

EU has delusions of grandeur. They can't shake Russia. Sanctions will fail.

Luckily, Indian economy is big enough that it can get by with almost no trade except for oil. India can and must do everything on its own. The economic balance is

FISCAL DEFICIT. = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS , in rupees and

IMPORT = EXPORT In $

Fiscal deficits have almost no bound and can be increased to ten times the present ridiculously small 4.6% GDP.

China developed its rail technology by using its own created money and India can do it too. DEFICITS can fund everything (and should). China is essentially offering to do it for India at 30% discounted $ because the $ is worth nothing in China and earns a few % in USA , also in $ , also worth zero in China. It is a good deal for India.

The best deal is still develop it on your own. This costs nothing, develops new technology and provides lots of employment and creates wealth. The rupee balance is extremely simple.

FISCAL DEFICIT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS.

Perhaps tarithmetic made him quit early. The balance is

FISCAL DEFICIT - NET IMPORT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS, as shown by data in

http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

which means FISCAL DEFICIT should be maximized and not minimized for growth. Perhaps he quit because this nonsense was too much to swallow and still have self respect. Remember Chidambarum's bragging that he would cut DEFICIT to 3% GDP.

I Will the SAARC finally take off and emulate the sucess of the EU? this to say about

I have this to say this about the cause of inflation.

Look at the balance of a monetary sovereign economy described by USA data http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

Deficits have increased a lot.

Good advice from a person not doing public service. Let me explain. The prime mover of the economy is the fiscal deficit as the balance is

FISCAL DEFICIT- NET IMPORT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS, and an x%GDP increase of DEFICIT producing the x%GDP growth of PRIVATE SAVINGS in the best case of neutral trade. Why then does Rajan hold the deficit to 4.6%GDP? It can't be for public service. The GDP is empirically equal to 5 times govt spending (USA data) and public service is more GDP, not less. If you are for public service increase FISCAL DEFICIT to 20 % for start and stop at incipient labour shortage.

India can eliminate poverty tomorrow by following the Swiss idea of universal salary of 2800 dollars (in Swiss money) per month to all to do what they want which will also boost the Swiss economy. India can give all people Rs. 5000 (or more)per capita per year to end poverty and boost the economy at the same time. The GDP grows to 5 times the govt spending.

Deficits can be increased to fund EVERYTHING. Develop clean thorium based nuclear energy, hydrogen fueled(fuel cell) cars, Education, school lunches, infrastructure (China built all sorts of infrastructure, bridges, dams, freeways, cities...), hospitals, metro rail..., adult education, student stipends..., social security, Universal income, etc. The govt can fund even nationally important businesses such as an Indian internet or an Indian Google. Infrastructure projects can provide lots of employment. These deficits become WEALTH.

Data is shown at https://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

Remember it is not taxpayers' money but FREE money

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Parthasarathy Shakkottai The balances for money users is different from that of money creators.

India creates money. It will NEVER run out of money. DEFICIT is created money.

The three types of economy are:

B. { DEFICITS - NET IMPORTS = PRIVATE SAVINGS} is the balance for India, a monetary sovereign, money creator is the CORRECT one for the govt. There is no time in this equation. Cutting Deficits is NEVER correct.

A. {STATE_ TAX+NET EXPORT =STATE_SPENDING + STATE_GOVT SAVINGS = STATE_SPENDING – STATE_GOVT_DEBT } for the states and counties and euro nations, all Money users.

And C. {INCOME = SPENDING + STATE_TAXES + FEDERAL_TAXES + SAVINGS} for individuals and businesses, also money users.

Only the govt can create DEFICIT= FEDERAL_ SPENDING – FEDERAL_ TAXES and feed the private sector (states and persons) with or without federal taxes (like India which has no state income taxes). There is no need for federal taxes.

Cut the deficit is totally wrong. Everyone discusses type A which does NOT apply to India.

Real economy is very well described by the accounting identity which says

DEFICITS  - NET IMPORTS = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS! Which speaks loud and clear. DEFICITS are the prime mover of the private sector. In the re case of neutral trade x% growth yields the same x% growth of savings? What is needed for growth is ONLY more deficits. Actual data shows this in

http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

ADVANTAGE LCA: The IAF could buy 200 Tejases instead of 126 Rafales and still save nearly $14 billion or Rs. 84,000 crore. Picture shows the aircraft taking off in Bangalore.

Parthasarathy Shakkottai Another major advantage is no dollar debt, no dollar repayments, no rupee devaluations and NO COST because deficits are created money created at ZERO cost. India can afford ANYTHING in rupees. The balance is DEFICITS - NET IMPORTS = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS

Here is an example of a modern monetary system (USA data.)

http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

Note red =blue and red area = Blue area = wealth. The economy is this simple!

Money creation, banking, education, healthcare, mineral wealth, infrastructure MUST be the exclusive province of the govt because ONLY the govt has no profit motive and serves ALL people best.p The private sector works best w

In the latest editorial, however, the magazine suggests three tasks to Modi to kick-start the economy – tackle rotten banks, break the destabilising cycle of stagflation and create more decent jobs.This.....

Why does a money creator need to sell anything? The govt DOES NOT need money. It can create any amount for FREE. If the govt makes money the economy loses because the accounting identity is FISCAL DEFICIT - NET. IMPORT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS. The natural flow of created money is from the govt to the private sector. The opposite flow reduces GDP. There is some scam going on here. Note that created money is called FISCAL DEFICIT. The govt can create any amount of it for FREE.

It will eventually be good to India if Moody's gives a bad rating to India. India will realize its monetary sovereignty. The worst will be over only when India realizes foreign debt is unsafe. If rupees are converted to $ to pay back in $, it will continue to be in peril. DEFICITS-NETIMPORTS = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS. This means One rupee deficit adds one rupee savings to the people. Also 1000 crore deficit adds 1000 crore to savings. The govt can create any amount at will. This is how money

arises to feed the private sector. The source of money is the DEFICIT, not TAX. ALL taxation can be zeroed out. For the rupee economy we have

DEFICIT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS , and

IMPORTS = EXPORTS in $ by which I mean operate by buying as much as you

earn in $ and do not convert rupees to $ and devalue the rupee.

DEFICITS will fund EVERYTHING. It is free money. Free healthcare, free

college, free universal income , free infrastructure

, free roads (no toll), almost free metrorail, low cost railways, free scholarships etc, all common items including science and technology funding. Not 2% GDP but 6% GDP. Education can be funded much better at another 6%GDP and so forth. Deficits can be increased from

4.6% to 20% and more until labour shortage develops. As you can see there is no dearth of money. That is why I would like to rename deficit by Bhagyalakshmi after the goddess of plenty. The balance is

Bhagyalakshmi = NET SAVINGS ! Oner a few years , Bhagyalakshmi times

number of years = WEALTH.

Use free deficits to create wealth. Increase deficits from 4.6% to ten times that in a few steps.

Shun FDI. Shun PPP. Use DEFICITS. Look at the data and proof at

Sayana commen

Sayana comments on a verse in Rigveda that Sun traverses 2,202 yojanas in half a nimesha. Yojana is an ancient Indian unit of length and nimesa is the unit of time. Upon conversion in modern units, this yields the value of 186,000 miles per second. Now it is well known that this is the velocity of light. Why would Sayana call this the velocity of Sun? It turns out that Sayana was following the ancient Indian tradition of codifying the knowledge. In this code Sun represents light.i

How did they do this feat?

Parthasarathy Shakkottai The real balance is FISCAL DEFICIT - NET IMPORT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS. NET IMPORT is called FOREIGN DEFICIT = CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFICIT = CAD. The difference (FISCAL DEFICIT - CAD ) feeds the economy. The sum FISCAL DEFICIT+ CAD means NOTHING. Yet the economists keep adding them ( Rajan, Chidambaram and Manmohan Singh ) which kills the economy. FISCAL DEFICIT is vital to the economy. Now you should understand why I say algebra killed the Indian economy. X%GDP DEFICIT will grow India's economy by exactly X%GDP. For example 4.6% GDP DEFICIT will grow the economy by 4.6% GDP, as everybody knows. Manmohan Singh is to be assigned the blame for letting this happen. He was sleeping during his watch.

16 hours ago · Edited · Like

Modi seems to have understood the true balance of the economy. The primary balance is

FISCAL DEFICIT - CAD = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS, with net import = CAD, in $ and the rest in created rupees, India' own currency. Note that FISCAL DEFICIT is the prime mover of the economy and any amount can be created to subsidize any and everything. AT ZERO cost.

Unlike CAD, it involves NO $ payments, NO interest and NO rupee devaluation and NO loss of profit  to the Indian citizens. The difference (FISCAL DEFICIT- CAD) grows net private savings and GDP. Why shouldn't Modi not use FREE money? Foreign Domestic Investments takes away resources and money from India and prevents growth of technology and know how in India. For example, when will India develop technology of its own monorail, metro and high speed rail?

If this is Modi's stand India will do very well.

Japan tax hike lifts inflation to 23-year high

www.thehindu.com

"But it cautioned that Japan needs deep, structural reforms to support growth."Of course! Growth off (FISCAL DEFICIT- TRADE DEFICIT ) and NET PRIVATE SAVINGS and GDP are identical. TAXATION removes money from the economy, decrease DEFICIT and decrease GDP and increases inflation. It all tallies.

"It’s going to prove impossible to outspend China in an arms race — so smarter means are going to have to be found to ensure India’s borders are defensible."NOT TRUE. China spent its own created money to develop its infrastructure. India can do the same. USA spends its own created money to fund its defense expenditure. Every monetary sovereign country can do this but first it has to develop its own technology. This is where India is lagging behind, having wasted its time with a nonsense economy minimizing (FISCAL DEFICIT TRADE DEFICIT) instead of maximizing( FISCAL DEFICIT- TRADE DEFICIT) for a fiat money balance which would have grown the economy at 20% plus rates. That is why a name change is in order. I suggest Fiscal Deficit = BHAGYALAKSHMI, after the goddess of wealth. It is time to open up the economy and let BHAGYALAKSHMI do her best.

''''!!!!!'!!!!!!!!!!!!

The economic balance for money – creating India is

FISCAL DEFICIT – NET IMPORT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS.

With a new name for FISCAL DEFICIT = BHAGYALAKSHMI, and NET IMPORT = TRADE DEFICIT, we get,  BHAGYALAKSHNI –TRADE DEFICIT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS. The new name is necessary because “deficit “ scares people.

Now look at the data at

http://pic.twitter.com/mIvjkQ18Hh

We see BHAGALAKSHNI Is positive downwards = NET SAVINGS in blue upwards at zero trade

Red area = cumulative money spent = blue area = cumulative money transferred to private savings = private wealth .

The green item is TRADE DEFICIT is positive upwards  just like BHAGYALAKSHMI and adds to GDP but removes money from the private sector causing less employment but cheaper goods ( mostly the case with USA importing goods from China using printed $ at zero cost). In India’s case it is mostly the other way (slightly), leading to loss of money by devaluation , $ payments and $ interest. The symmetry is EXACT showing the truth of the balance. There is ZERO doubt of the correctness of the balance.

What do we learn from this? Use Bhagyalakshmi as much as possible. There are no limits to it (her).

Stay close to neutral in TRADE . Spend only  $ earned in IT to buy oil in $ and use Bhagyalakshmi to fund R &D in technology for the future, such as Thorium molten salt nuclear. In fact fund all future technologies using Bhagyalakshmi , there being no limit to it. Shun FDI and foreign funding of any sort. ',,,,,,,

He said the concerns of the people should be addressed "in a polite, decent and very caring fashion" so that people start looking up at "you as a role model of good governance".

It is more useful to open up the economy where true compassion resides. Maximize (FISCAL DEFICIT - TRADE DEFICIT) which is exactly equal to NET PRIVATE SAVINGS. DEFICITS will fund EVERYTHING. It is free money. Free healthcare, free college, free universal income , free infrastructure, free roads (no toll), almost free metrorail, low cost railways, free scholarships etc, all common items including science and technology funding. Not 2% GDP but 6% GDP. Education can be funded much better at another 6%GDP and so forth. Deficits can be increased from 4.6% to 20% and more until labour shortage develops. It is a misconception to think that corporate business cares for people and environment out of the goodness of their hearts. There is no empirical evidence to show that. Actually there is a lot of evidence to show the opposite. In USA the big banks almost wreaked the economy on the guise of"the ownership society" of Bush when the real estate bubble crashed. What did the govt do to help the citizens? They helped the banksters  by bailing them exclusively with hardly a discussion. And later, Quantitative Easing which helps only the gamblers and hedge fund players. Where does all this money go? Investments in factories in China to the detriment of workers in USA. The total money sucked out of the govt was an enormous 2 GDP in created deficits. The govt has no money for the people because     It is " running out of money"  and the sheeple have been brainwashed to believe it.

///////////////

The various balances in the economy.

1. Old time kingdoms:  This  is the obvious one people think of.

Tax revenue  = personal expense + palace and administration expense + public works + army +support to temples+ schools  + arts.

2. More advanced kingdoms: borrowing from a wealthy banker or a group of bankers is involved.

Tax revenue+borrowed money   = personal expense + palace and administration expense + public works + army +support to temples+ schools  + arts+debt payments. If the nation mined gold it would add to the left hand side. In Europe, wars were supported by wealthy bankers lending to various nations. They robbed colonies to pay the bankers. The bankers grew rich by the compound interest they got from the govt and the govt got the running expense by more tax and the people lost.

3. In the USA we have something similar. The federal reserve is a private public hybrid with half representation by the federal govt and the rest bankers who are allowed the privilege of creating money for the govt and given a fixed profit. It does not work well. They set the interest rates and private banks rake in the money.

4. The gold standard disappeared in 1971, there being too little gold to support growth. What we have now is fiat money. This means the value of money is what the govt says it is. Gold is just a commodity.

5. Fortunately India has no federal reserve and RBI can create money directly, there being no gold standard. That they do not take advantage of this is sheer stupidity and the passion to copy USA in everything. The balance is

FISCAL DEFICIT - TRADE DEFICIT = NET PRIVATE SAVINGS with the fiscal deficit being  ( spending - federal tax income.) Note that this difference is all that matters to support the private sector. Taxation is entirely unnecessary. The reason it is still there is inertia and it used to be required during the gold standard.FISCAL DEFICIT is in rupees and TRADE DEFICIT  is in $. Ideally the economy should be operated with FISCAL DEFICIT = NET SAVINGS. And TRADE DEFICIT  = 0 $. Otherwise there is a risk of devaluation do the rupee which is highly undesirable. Of course, foreigners love it. Note that the economy grows with FISCAL DEFICITS and can be much greater than 4.6% of present GDP.   30% is entirely possible.

Public private partnerships do not make sense in a fiat economy. The govt and private sector are on opposite sides of the equation of balance and DEFICIT is the driver. TAX used to be the driver in the old days.

>>Not understandable either and a grave criminal offence. But, unlike what some braindead hatemongers may say, it would be unwise to put the teacher back in the same class room to teach. He should have been given an administrative job instead. Comparing that incident to the action of police against Kerala students is neither OK nor understandable.-- Anwaar

I am not a freedom of speech absolutist. And I 100% support the Professor. He was wronged not only by the PFI, which deserves a ban as argued by Kerala govt. I also support the ban on SIMI  on the basis of its ideology, even if it turns out that SIMI was not involved in any violent activity. In this, my position is opposed to the stand of Ajit Sahi in Tehelka and in tune with that of Javed Anand

The facts in the professor hand chopping case.  There was a report in Indian Express -

archive.indianexpress.com/news/controversial-question-paper-lecturer-s-hand-chopped-off/642261/0

What was the question? A table in Wiki has reproduced it

And now the context as in the wiki article-

The passage was adapted from a lecture by Malayalam film director P. T. Kunju Muhammed that was in his book, Thirakathayude Reethisasthram (Methodology of Screenplay), published by Kerala State Institute of Languages. In the original text, Kunju Muhammed explains a scene in his 1999 film Garshom, in which the character Murali, a NRI who has returned to India, is madly talking to himself. Kunju Muhammed based the character Murali on a schizophrenic that he had met near the road who was talking to God. Joseph named the unnamed schizophrenic character as Muhammed in the question paper, as a reference to the author Kunju Muhammed, but it also made the text open to interpretation as a dialogue between God and Prophet Muhammad.

Clearly the text was misinterpreted as a dialogue between God and the Prophet. If an explanation was sought and given, that would or should hve been the end of the story. However

The local edition of the Madhyamam Daily reported the incident, sparking off the controversy alleging blasphemy. Several Muslim organisations protested the alleged defamation of the Prophet Muhammed. The Campus Front, the Popular Front of India's student wing, launched an agitation against the professor.

Now comes the competetive "Right to be Offended" brigade . A reflection of intellectual caliber of our student wings of political parties-

Student groups affiliated to the Indian National Congress and the Indian Union Muslim League also marched towards the college in protest.

What should have attracted police/administrative action

Copies of the question paper were circulated in sensitive areas by various Muslim organisations.

One appreciates the way the district collector took steps to defuse tension. But was the recommendation for action against the teacher, was it justified?

Meanwhile, an all-party meeting called by the District Collector discussed the measures to be adopted to bring the situation under control in the town.

The meeting also decided to recommend action against the teacher who is responsible for incorporating the question that reportedly hurt the religious sentiments of the community.

The only time the professor got an opportunity to explain his stand was after the attack. Did the All Party meeting with collector ever think of putting the truth of the case, which would have defused tension then and there? Suspension of the teacher only convinved the low IQ bigots that the teacher was guilty who then proceeded to dispense their version of justice.

"  Punishment for crticism of Stalin or Modi is smothering of political dissent. Why is this so hard for you?"

How would you characterise the crusade run by Senator Joseph McCarthy, the famous Witch Hunt against leftist intellectuals in the 1950s ?

While you harp on the John Scopes trial, which was also a case of state suppression of dissent, why do you ignore McCarthyism which happened in the same time?

Jaitley can try his luck with the middle men and traders(fixers),they will go on strike and threaten the security of the Poor farmer who is at the mercy of these Blood suckers.

For too long we have had people who survive on others sweat, its not going to easy to fix it.

There are always people who are drunk in pessimism and will believe any negative. Groups like Greenpeace exploit these people for money and name.

The global warming movement is simply like that. Just go back to the seventies and you will find the same bunch warning about global cooling. "The earth was going to FREEZE" was the refrain.

Unfortunately for them, earth started to warm up. Then they changed tactics. Global cooling became global warming in no time and the same idiots are cheated once more.

>> " even the US is guilty of smothering dissent".

I am as much a critic of the Scopes trial as anybody else, but that was not smothering of political dissent. It was rejection of Darwinism by a religious community which did not want their children taught things that went against their Bible. That was 90 years ago. Punishment for crticism of Stalin or Modi is smothering of political dissent. Why is this so hard for you?

>> CAIR, which is an advocate for the suppression of anything that is perceived as critical of Islam.

CAIR fights hate speech just as the Jewish Defense League or NAACP do.

Police action against freedom of speech not OK.  Cutting off hands of professor for expressing his freedom of speech?  Well not OK, but understandable, I guess.

If anybody believes that the appointed Governors are apolitical or supposed to be apolitical is totally naive.  There are numerous examples that Gujarat Governor, appointed by UPA butted head with Modi government and did all dirty work that UPA wanted to do.  If the governors' appointment is apolitical, show me few examples that UPA/Congress government appointed a leading BJP person as Governor or NDA appointing a leading Congressman as Governor.

D.L.Narayan,

>> It is your bigoted outlook which equates criticism of Islamic fundamentalism with an attack on Islam.......

You would distort, misrepresent and lie in order to deny your raging communalism. The fact is that you and I have never had an argument over fundamentalist Islam, which I criticize even more than you do. Our arguments have been over sympathy or lack thereof for oppressed minorities, mullahist or modernist interpretations of scriptural quotes and sanghi revision of history which whitewashes Hindu history and demonises Muslims. Please try to be truthful even if it is hard for you to do so.

>> No case is dead though it takes decades. Sanjiv Bhatt case

Exactly.

So sickos should not whine that why is Sanjiv Bhat being investigated after so many years for custodial death.

Hopefully Sreekumar will also face justice for targeting ISRO scientists, and harming India's space program.

<p>D.L.Narayan,</p>   <p>@ "Instead of shedding crocodile tears for the plight of Rohingyas, did you ever bother to condemn the inhumanity of the Bangladeshis who pushed away the boat people"....</p>   <p>This kind of counter-questioning is a ploy to hide your true hatefulness and it washes out all the earlier pious statements you made. I don't even remember if the boat people were ever discussed here and what kind of condemnation of Bangladeshis you had made if the topic was discussed.</p>     <p> @ "The Rohingyas number about 140,000 and they can easily by absorbed by Bangladesh and Pakistan"</p>   <p>You mean they have no right to live in the country in which according to you they have lived for over a century and according to others for much longer? They should give in to Buddhist intolerance? This is probably the worst statement you have made so far. Deport Muslims from Myanmar, deport Muslims from Assam, perhaps deport Muslims from India!!! No wonder the RSS is sparing no effort to show that Aryan immigration never occurred, otherwise you yourself may become eligible for deportation!</p>

When everybody knows that Governors are political appointments, then what is fuss about the changing them, once the political equation have changed. This is the practise that was followed by Congress during UPA-1.

And Governor v/s president the difference president is chosen by an election and governors are appointed by government of the day and so president cannot be removed whereas the governor can be.

These governors are appointed simply because they were close to government of the day, when they were appointed and why do the new government bear the old legacy?
And to me there is utter stupidity in even discussing as this has been the norm. In fact these governors should have already resigned after the elections.

The only exception could be Sheila Dixit looking for immunity from law, in case AAP still comes to power in Delhi and start legal cases against her.

The other time when Governor does play a role is that when there is hung assembly, it does favor by calling on a particular party to form the government. This is so absurd. Can't we change this law that once elections are held, he should fix a day and ask all parties/combinations to prove the majority and whosoever proves the majority, should form the government? And that way whatever meaningful role, governor has should go away.

Past practices notwithstanding, governors are appointed for fixed terms and should not be removed except for impeachable offences. Is Modi going to remove the President too?

The criteria should not be UPA appointed Governors-but political appointees like Bharadwaj and Sheila. Other appointees can stay.

>>> Nobody in their right frame of mind can justify or condone injustice to any section of society be it... the unfortunate victims of communal violence in Sri Lanka

>>>" Kahin bhi peace se nahin reh saktein."

>Kaise peace se reh sakengey jab itne saare kaafir log baaki hain is duniya mein?

>>Why is a particular community involved in all these instances of violence. be it in Iraq or Sudan or Pakistan or Myanmar or anywhere else in the world?

>>The poison is in ideologies not in the mind. The sooner you are aware of it the better. Instead of blaming people like Ghai saheb and me for highlighting inconvenient facts, start introspecting.

------------------------------------------

Myanmar = Sudan= Iraq = Srilanka = Gujarat = Ishrat

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is a particular gender behind virtually every atrocity?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

May I know what was the great truth that Ghai Saheb or your highness was trying to highlight in the case of Srilankan violence. What seems to be the truth is, the majoritarianism, that was once directed towards Tamils , now has spread to embrace Muslims too. This sort of mentality I know from Bombay riots when the anti Muslim rioters also attacked north Indians.

-----------------

I have never encountered anyone as thoroughly devoid of basic human sympathy as you and Ghai, all the time rushing to gloat over misfortune involving Muslims. For all my fights with Whatsinaname, he is basically decent though deluded

Why did the HM, under whom the state police comes, speak so early? He should have waited another 8-10 days-after being silent for the same amount of time.

Such brisky action may lead to lung cancer. The guy better be careful.
