Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin take budding romance to next level as he 'introduces her to his friends'

Neither Chris Martin nor Jennifer Lawrence seems to be too concerned with pacing their new romance slowly.

In fact, the 37-year-old musician has reportedly already begun bringing the Hunger Games superstar out to meet his friends.

A source told E! News that the two were spotted having dinner with the rocker's pals on Thursday night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

'It doesn't seem like it's a new relationship. They seem super affectionate and at ease with each other,' the source said.

They added: 'They seem very comfortable in each other's company - and happy! She is very gregarious and confident ... They seem super cute together.'

Both Jennifer and Chris became newly single this year after ending long-term relationships and this is the first reported post-split romance for both.

The Coldplay frontman made headlines in March when he and Gwyneth Paltrow announced their divorce - which they termed 'consciously uncoupling' - after a decade together and two children.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Lawrence called it quits with long time love Nicholas Hoult, whom she also starred with in the film X-Men: First Class.

She's got a busy year ahead with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 slated for release in November on top of work in yet another David O. Russell film, titled Joy.

Lawrence was also just named the co-chair of the 2015 Metropolitan Museum Of Art Costume Institute Benefit which has it's annual, star-studded annual gala in New York City.

The theme for the 2015 event is 'Chinese Whispers: Tales Of The East in Art, Film And Fashion.'

On top of taking the busy Lawrence out to meet his mates, Martin is reportedly trying to woo the gorgeous blonde in all kinds of romantic ways.

'He writes her songs and loves taking her to private romantic spots,' said the source. 'Chris is sweeping Jen off her feet. That's his thing.'

Hoult, meanwhile, doesn't appear to be taking things too hard as the 24-year-old actor has been spotted with yet another one of the most famous and beautiful women on the planet.

He and Kristen Stewart, 24, star together in the upcoming sci-fi drama Equals and are rumoured to be dating, even spotted zip-lining together this week while promoting the film in Singapore.
