1. Majora’s Mask
2. Perfect Dark
3. Conker’s Bad Fur Day
The only way I can see the potential in this deal is that Mojang already has a game in the works that looks amazing, otherwise it’s just mind boggling that MS would throw this much money at a company know for one game that’s already on other platforms and has been milked for just about all its worth.
It’s not just Minecraft it’s the entire studio, which means most of the employees as well as any rights to current projects go to Microsoft.
Stop right now Mojang is nowhere near the same level of Rare was in it’s prime, not to mention Rare’s troubles stemmed from internal issues.
I feel MS could put that money to better use elsewhere I’ve enjoyed a fair couple of hours in Minecraft, but that success is hard to replicate and I’m doubtful Mojang can pull it off on console.
That ananlogy would make more sense if MS took direct shots at Sony over the deal, this just seems like light-hearted joke.
I’m pretty sure it’s aimed at everyone.
That’s assuming that it’s just that one game, if they’re doing it for this game fair chance they’ll do it for more games which is going to be confusing to a lot of consumers.
I hope MS offers some kind of discount for those who bought it on 360, but I guess that’s not likely.
Don’t know why that headline was chosen as if it’s a brand new revelation, far better things in the article could’ve been highlighted.
It was a great game on 360, don’t know how much it’ll benefit on next-gen aside from the upped resolution of course.
Any unoptimized title is going to run poorly, even PC gamers with beefy rigs have trouble running certain games.
Look forward to trying it out, loved the first Horizon and this one sounds like it’s made all the improvements I expected.
Well that’d be ideal, but it could also mean they’ll focus on the reusing the same franchises instead of experimenting with new games.
I don’t really know how to take this, does this mean they are going to continue focusing on the core Nintendo fanbase who are pretty much already sold, or does it mean they are going to actively try to appeal to hardcore gamers in general?
Well in that case it doesn’t count.
If it’s not generally well received then it counts, I know some cases where games have a decent score on metacritic like Perfect Dark Zero, but it’s still lowly regarded in the gaming community.
That’s exactly what they did when they had it bundled. Xbox One should have been 550$ with Kinect.
That game was actually very well received.
I count it anything that averages under a 7/10 is fine.
Yeah the title is more inclusive, as the original title sort of reads as an event for gays only.
The first patent named in the lawsuit was filed by Capcom in 2002. It relates to “a function that lets you acquire new content by combining an existing game with another piece of software.”
The second patent is related to controller vibration due to enemy proximity.
This lawsuit sounds stupid.
