Alicia Keys gave a serious lesson in dressing your bump when she stepped out in New York City on Monday.

The singer, who is expecting her second child with husband Swizz Beatz, emerged from the Elvis Duran Radio Station in New York City positively glowing.

Alicia worked a chic white and blue colour palette in a pair of tight jeans and a stylish jumper with a whimsical unicorn adorned on the front of it.

Finishing off her look the star added a pair of wedged lace-up ankle boots, sunglasses and large hoop earrings while her hair was braided throughout.

Alicia, who is already mother to Egypt Daoud Dean, three, with the hip hop star, announced her second pregnancy in July via Instagram.

The R&B beauty told her fans: 'Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz! And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!,’

The sweet caption was accompanied with a photos of Alicia clutching her beautiful baby belly while dressed in a Grecian floaty white gown, and looking towards Swizz who is sat down next to her.

Indeed the couples’ love is easy to see. Last week the Fallin’ hitmaker threw a lavish bash for her husband’s 36th birthday with a theme of the classic 1988 Eddie Murphy film, Coming To America.

Taking place at Capitale in New York, the venue was decorated with palm fronds and regal gold and red velvet thrones for the birthday boy and his family, while a dance troupe was brought in to perform a traditional dance to the beat of African drummers.

'My party was Epic thx to all my fam & Friends for a timeless moment I'm still in shock...' the hip-hop recording artist - real name Kasseem Dean - gushed on social media the following morning as he shared a number of photos and videos from the evening's festivities.

He also gave a shout-out to his wife of four years for making the night so special and fun.

'My wife is awesome thx my love for the best Bday party everrrrrrrrrerr #comingtoamerica...' he wrote.
