Hunky David Beckham shows off his tattoo collection and impressive abs in new magazine shoot

He may have retired from soccer in 2013 but 39-year-old David Beckham is clearly still working hard to stay in shape.

The hunky footballer shows off his impressive six-pack and numerous tattoos in a new shoot for AnOther magazine in which he poses shirtless.

A moody black and white shot, revealing the sports star wearing nothing but a pair of black trousers is sure to get pulses racing when the new issues hits newsstands on Thursday, September 25.

And no doubt Victoria Beckham will be pleased with her man when she sees the results from the photoshoot.

The spread was shot and styled by Collier Schorr and Alister Mackie for the publication's Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign.

David may have retired from football but he has plenty to keep him busy, namely his four children with wife Victoria.

He recently joked to the Daily Mail: 'I retired to be a taxi driver for my three boys (Brooklyn, 15, Cruz, 12 and nine-year-old Romeo).'

He added: 'I am in the car from the 7am school drop-off to the moment they come out,’ he admits. ‘They all train on different days, every single day. I am a cab driver. Previously when I was away with the team I missed certain games or occasions, but I love being at every one of their training sessions.'

And that doesn't leave three-year-old daughter Harper out, with David adding: 'Plus my daughter does ballet now.'

No doubt David has been extra busy with the children as his wife Victoria prepares to open her flagship store in London on Thursday.

The former Spice Girl recently insisted she plans to be a hand-on owner and may even rope in her family including David and Brooklyn to help out. 

She told Grazia: 'I love retail - I'll be taking appointments with people... maybe go behind the till. Who knows maybe David will be on the door and Brooklyn will be a Saturday boy?'

Victoria is excited about opening the 7,000 square feet store which will stock both her main collection, her spin-off ranage Victoria by Victoria Beckham, and accessories.
