And it doesn't seem as though Nick Cannon is wasting any time in moving on, having been spotted sneaking out of a sushi restaurant after dining with a mystery blonde on Tuesday.

To begin with, the pair were joined at Matsuhisa by former American Idol judge Randy Jackson - who is going through a divorce of his own right now.

But according to onlookers, the singer left early, leaving Nick and his willowy companion to enjoy the rest of their evening.

Clearly eager to fly under the radar, when the time came to leave about an hour later, 33-year-old Nick snuck out through a private exit, while his pretty companion was picked up by a friend soon after.

Dressed in a snazzy iridescent blue waistcoat, tie and trouser combo, Nick was grinning from ear to ear as he jumped in his car, which was being driven by a balaclava-clad chauffeur.

And the leggy blonde, who showed off her slender physique in a form-fitting floor-length red dress, was also smiling broadly as she made her way to her own ride.

When told he could just name five, the star had his list ready: 'That's easy. OK, Mariah Carey, Christina Milian, Nicole Scherzinger, Selita Ebanks, oh, Kim Kardashian.'

He then elaborated about Kim, now married to rapper Kanye West, saying: 'You just forgot (about her) because there have been a lot of people since me.'

The couple are reported to have separated back in May and have been secretly working out a property settlement and custody agreement over their three-year-old twins with their lawyers, according to TMZ.

However, an insider close to Nick denied he had anything to do with Amber's separation, saying: 'He only learned about Amber's domestic problems through her lawyers last week when he signed her on as a client.
