Hanging with the heavyweights! Rosie Perez frocks up to attend the I Am Ali premiere in New York City

She recently joined hit talk show The View.

So Rosie Perez surely has plenty of appearances to make, and one of those was the I Am Ali premiere in New York City on Thursday night.

The 50-year-old actress and host was joined by her graffiti artist husband Eric Haze as they welcomed the documentary about boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

Rosie looked casually chic in a white form-fitting short sleeved turtleneck shirt, which slipped into a high-waisted black silk skirt.

She added a pair of beige ankle boots complete with gold zipper detailing, and carried her essentials in a chic gold clutch.

The Frasier star wore her long brunette tresses out and styled in neat waves as she posed outside the event.

Rosie was joined by her graffiti artist husband Eric Haze, who she married in September 2013 in a quick Las Vegas ceremony, right after they watched a Floyd Mayweather boxing match.

The star also took a moment to pose with two of Muhammad Ali's daughters, Maryum and Hana Ali, who both looked stunning in black and lace ensembles.

Life has just become a lot more busy for Rosie, as she has joined the crew at ABC's daytime chat show The View.

The brunette beauty now chats with Rosie O'Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and veteran Whoopi Goldberg in the latest season which began on September 15.

Previously, she worked as an actress and choreographer and appeared in the movies Do the Right Thing and Fearless.

I Am Ali will be released on October 10, and MailOnline exclusively revealed details of the project last month.

In an exclusive first look at the trailer for the documentary, the now 72-year-old is is heard having intimate conversations with his children and telling rambling anecdotes with his manager.

The documentary is from the Oscar-winning producers of critically acclaimed documentaries Searching For Sugar Man and Man On A Wire.

It will be a long awaited look at the professional boxer's life outside of the ring, as he is known as one of the greatest heavyweights in history.
