Emma Bunton looks fierce in her leopard print coat during a shopping trip in London

She was Mel B's trusty sidekick when it came to narrowing down the boys' category in Mexico ahead of X Factor's live shows.

And it seems that Baby Spice took some style inspiration from her 'scarier' counterpart during the competition's Judge's Houses round.

Indeed, Emma Bunton looked wild a leopard print coat in Whiteleys Shopping Centre on Sunday afternoon, having returned to London from the luxurious Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort in Cancun with a glowing tan.

The 38-year-old fair-haired bombshell paired the animal print garment with black skinny jeans and low heeled pumps.

She draped a black leather bag around her body and wore minimal make-up on her sun-kissed face as she enjoyed some retail therapy.

Since leaving her bikinis in sunny Mexico for this warmer attire, the singer revealed she had an 'amazing' time with Mel B due to 'a little bit of tequila'.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain last week, the radio DJ said the experience on X Factor was short but 'incredible'.

Emma said: 'I don't like to be away from my children for too long so I was there for 72 hours.

'It was amazing to be with Mel it was great fun, we had a little bit of tequila when we were there, it was really good.

'The boys that she has were brilliant and it was just very tough; she has a great group.'

Meanwhile, after Mel B sent fans into a frenzy earlier this year when she hinted at a potential reunion tour, Emma has also admitted that the band mates have been discussing the possibility of hitting the road together again.

Speaking exclusively to the MailOnline as she promoted her UNICEF campaign, Emma said: ‘We’re always emailing and chatting about it.

'But it’s generally all about the timing and what everyone is doing. We all have children now and are so busy.'

The radio DJ added: ‘I love the fact that people are still wanting another Spice Girl tour. I love working with the girls and I know Mel B spoke about it recently.

‘I still have to pinch myself a bit to believe that the group is has this amazing fan base after all these years. It was 18 years ago now which is a bit scary.’
