Nicole Kidman looks downcast as she arrives in Los Angeles wearing all black... two weeks after her father's funeral

She was just in South Korea on business.

And as Nicole Kidman arrived in Los Angeles on Friday she was looking a bit downcast, less than two weeks after her father's funeral in Sydney.

The 47-year-old actress wore a mostly black ensemble as she walked through LAX, keeping a low profile in a leather hat and large dark sunglasses.

With her ginger locks tied into a tight ponytail, Nicole sported a light floral patterned dress and black flats.

The Eyes Wide Shut star was in South Korea attending Omega's De Ville Prestige Butterfly launch with husband Keith Urban.

But it was just last week that grieving Nicole spoke out for the first time since the sudden death of her father, respected clinical psychologist Dr Antony Kidman, who tragically died age 75, on September 12.

Nicole took to social media to acknowledge the out-pouring of support she has received since her father's unexpected passing.

The mum-of-four wrote: 'We would just like to thank everyone for their love and prayers over these past couple of weeks.

'We are all heartbroken but knowing we are in the hearts and thoughts of others is so comforting. Sending love, Nic and Keith xx'

The actress has been taking some time to grieve with her husband and daughters Faith Margaret Kidman Urban and Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and to attend to her father's funeral.

The Hours actress delivered a eulogy to family and friends that read: 'I’m so lucky to be his daughter and that he chose my mother to make me with.

'The only regret he’d have is that he’s not here to see his beautiful grandchildren grow up,” Kidman continued. “And that he’s not here to take care of [my mother] Jay.'

Although Nicole and Keith's children were at the ceremony, the actress was crushed when children with ex-husband Tom Cruise - Isabella, 21, and Connor, 19 - didn't attend.
