Dita Von Teese does trademark vintage glamour as she cherry picks plunging cerise blouse for hip-hop concert with pals

She has a knack for retro glamour and is rarely seen dressed down.

So even when Dita Von Teese headed out to catch a hip-hop gig on Tuesday, the burlesque star was unwavering with her trademark look.

The 42-year-old looked immaculate as she headed out with a couple of girlfriends to the Troubadour music venue in West Hollywood.

The stage performer's waist looked slender in a high-cut and sweeping black maxi skirt and she teamed it with a hot pink blouse featuring sequined floral embroidering.

Her porcelain skin was accentuated with ruby red lips and thick eyeliner in seductive flicks at the outer edges of her eyes. 

She swept her dark locks into a satin turban scarf - harking back to the 1940s in spectacular fashion - and carried a coordinating fuchsia clutch that was also in satin.

That evening the popular LA venue was hosting hip-hop artist Brother Ali as well as supporting acts Bambu, DJ Last Word and Mally.

Dita has just completed her Strip, Strip, Hooray tour which finished up in New York on September 20, so no doubt she is ready to let her hair down.

She was spotted enjoying a romantic stroll on Monday with boyfriend Adam Rajcevich. The pair held hands as they soaked up the sun in Griffith Park.

The brunette stunner - who started her fashion and lingerie line Von Follies in 2012 - has taken her brand of sexy underwear and now made it available for new mothers.

'The collection I created with Destination Maternity is designed to capture the spirit of retro glamour, while inspiring confidence and meeting the practical requirements and everyday needs of a new mother,' she said in a press release.

'All of the bras open at the front for easy nursing - while the matching underwear all have a "postpartum shaper", for discretely holding in post-baby bellies.'
