Advancing religious literacy

Forum - Westar's Academic Journal

Westar’s academic journal

Forum, a biannual journal first published in 1985, contains current research in biblical and cognate studies. The journal features articles on the historical Jesus, Christian origins, and related fields.

Forum publishes the scholarship emerging from Westar Institute Seminars. Included in the pages are many of the seminar papers that inform the deliberations and conclusions of the Seminars.

Recommended for scholars and advanced students of religion, the journal appears twice a year, in April and October. Read the preface to the current issue, Assessing the Work of Rudolf Bultmann (Issue 3,2 | October 2014). Meet Forum‘s editorial board
