Shockwaves NME Awards Tour 2009 line-up revealed
The Shockwaves NME Awards Tour will be headlined by Glasvegas, we can reveal today (November 11).

The Scots will be accompanied on the jaunt, which kicks off on January 29 in Liverpool, by Friendly Fires, White Lies and Florence And The Machine.

"We'll bring the champagne instead of Buckfast," Glasvegas frontman James Allan told NME.COM as the tour was confirmed.

For interviews with all the bands on this year's tour, get this week's issue of NME on UK newsstands from Wednesday (November 12).

Tickets for the tour will go on sale exclusively though NME.COM/GIGS and the NME Ticket line 0871 230 1094 from 9am (GMT) tomorrow morning (November 12).
