She will be joining the cast of one of the most successful film franchises of all time.

And it seems like Lupita Nyong'o, 31, couldn't be more excited to a part of Star Wars: Episode VII as she took to Instagram on Friday to share a picture of herself holding up a Hans Solo doll.

The Oscar winner captioned the image of her beaming while showing off the toy with Harrison Ford's face on it and the message: 'Geeking out! #SWVII'

Despite the enthusiastic post, it certainly was not a happy day for the upcoming space epic as an ImageShack user named 'themillenniumfalcon' posted over 30 concept drawings that revealed major details from the movie.

The photos seemed to contain various spoilers in the yet-to-be-released film including a mysterious cloaked character holding up the mask of Darth Vader.

As the project has been shrouded with secrecy from the very beginning, this is quite a shocking revelation for the highly anticipated project.

Writer and director JJ Abrams is notorious for keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to his projects so it will be interesting to see how he will react to these images being made public.

In June, the Bad Robot Productions owner took to his Twitter to respond to photo leaks that made it onto the internet with a cheeky snap of his own.

He posted a hand-written note on top of what looks like a piece of the famous Millennium Falcon to his 135K followers.

Abrams wrote: 'I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And Making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie. - JJ.'

The filmmaker followed up the snap in September by posting a full video showing off the fictional spacecraft offering fans a first glimpse at the ship.

Though not much is known about the plot of the upcoming movie, it will be a continuation of the saga created by George Lucas 30 years after the end of Star Wars: Episode IV - The Return Of The Jedi.

Nyong'o confirmed in June she would be joining the cast via an Instagram post of a snapshot of the Star Wars logo.
