'Broke' Jon Gosselin 'was evicted from his home after failing to pay rent'

Jon Gosselin has suffered another blow after being evicted from his home, according to reports.

The former reality star allegedly must leave his Pennsylvania apartment after failing to maintain payments for his rent.

A source told Us Weekly: ‘It’s true. He was evicted last week and has been in the process of moving out.’

Meanwhile Star magazine reports a source said Jon ‘agreed to the terms of a rent-to-own lease agreement for the $299,000 property,’ but then ‘broke the lease, thinking he could just rent the property after agreeing to the rent-to-own contractual agreement.’

The 37-year-old and his ex-wife shot to fame after welcoming sextuplets into the world and landing their own reality show Jon And Kate Plus 8.

Twins Cara and Mady, who are 14, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel – who are 10 years old – live with Kate, but they visit their father.

However without a place for eight children to sleep, Jon currently can’t have them to visit overnight.

‘He can see his kids, but they can't stay over because he has nowhere to put them,’ the insider explained. And his home is not the only thing that Jon has allegedly lost.

According to Us Weekly, he is also without a job and without a girlfriend.

He is said to have been working at a credit card company, but the source claimed: ‘It lasted a few months. Now he’s broke again.’

What’s more, he is no longer with Liz Jannetta, who he appeared alongside on VH1's Couples Therapy earlier this year.

‘He and his girlfriend broke up a month or two ago. She moved,’ the insider alleged.

Last year Jon, who split from Kate in December 2009, revealed he was working as a waiter at Emily’s Pub in Beckersville.

But in May reports surfaced via Radar Online that his unannounced absences and late arrivals became too much, and he was fired.

'He had no work ethic and felt he could come and go as he pleased,' an unidentified source close to the situation told Radar, adding: 'Jon had the restaurant sign a non-disclosure agreement stating they cannot speak negatively about him.'

Meanwhile Kate, who is said to have angered Jon by taking their teenage twins on a talk show earlier this year and telling them to ‘spit it out’ when they clammed up, isn’t ready to give up reality TV just yet.

In August TLC announced they are bringing back the 39-year-old's show Kate Plus 8, which aired twice in June to good ratings. The program is set to return in December.
