He was arrested under suspicion of DUI while driving one of Justin Bieber's cars, and later caused between eight to 10 thousand dollars worth of damage to another one of the pop star's vehicles.

But Lil Twist is now back in Bieber's life after the singer's management team reportedly tried to 'cut ties' between the two.

In the wee hours of Friday morning Twist, 21, posted a snap of him grabbing dinner with Bieber in Hollywood celebrating their reunion.

The two wear jaunty hats as they sit front of bowls of pasta while Twist points his fingers like a gunslinger at the camera.

In a boastful mood, the rapper, whose real name is Christopher Lynn Moore, captioned the shot: 'And just like that... We're bak ... Leaving a great dinner with my lil brother @justinbieber ! #Family'.

The reunion comes as TMZ reports that 20-year-old Bieber's team had tried to keep the two separated following what they deemed Twist's less than healthy influence.

Twist had caused between eight to 10 thousand dollars worth of damage to one Bieber's cars when he speeding out of the Four Seasons parking lot on January 1 of 2013, without Bieber in the car.

Shortly thereafter, he was pulled over for speeding off the 405 freeway and a paparazzo was killed by oncoming traffic while trying to photograph the car.

The incidents on the first day of the year of 2013 were just the initial signs of the trouble to come over the next few months for Lil Twist and, by association, Bieber himself.

A couple days later, pictures surfaced of the two BFFs smoking what, according to sources, were cannabis blunts at a Newport Beach hotel room party.

In early March of that same year, the Canadian singer-songwriter loaned his mirrored Fisker Karma to his Dallas-born rapper buddy, who promptly crashed it into cement poles in front of a wall at a San Fernando Valley liquor store.

After picking up the pieces of the car, he then promptly fled the scene with some unidentified men who showed up in a BMW, according to TMZ, leaving the damaged six-figure automobile behind, as well as causing property damage without consulting the owner of the property.

Just a few weeks later, Lil Twist threw a party at Bieber's Calabasas mansion while the star was in Europe, where more photos surfaced on TMZ of pot, bongs and booze.

However, even though the party reportedly raged all night long, none of the neighbours complained.

After the raucous first few months, Lil Twist took to Instagram to address his haters and critics alike.

'I’m no influence, and I’m not running round claiming to be this role model…I live life. I’m a young adult who makes mistakes,' the rapper wrote. 'But it makes u more of a bad person to sit home and judge someone u haven’t took the time to learn about.'

He concluded the post with, 'U know what I’m gonna clean up my act. #wildkidz #baddecisions.'
