Gold star for effort: Katherine Jenkins looks lovely in glittering dress as she steps out with new husband Andrew Levitas in LA

She tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony last month, and it seems as though Katherine Jenkins is still well and truly in the honeymoon phase.

The Welsh singer, who married Andrew Levitas in September, couldn't hide her smile as the pair went out for a romantic date at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The 34-year-old songstress was positively glowing in a gold and white Korovilas Bryony dress as she held her husband's hand outside the notorious celebrity hotel.

The beautiful blonde wore her glossy locks loose, tumbling over her shoulders, adding to the effect of her metallic cream and gold frock.

The knee-length fitted dress was printed with a delicate diamond pattern, which she teamed neatly with a pair of nude pointed court shoes.

Katherine married American artist and filmaker Andrew Levitas, 37, in a lavish ceremony at London's Hampton Court on 27 September, the same day George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin stole the headlines with their own nuptials in Florence.

But the overshadowing of the Clooney-Alamuddin wedding seems to have not bothered the newlyweds.

Still clearly in the honeymoon phase with her man, Katherine couldn't wipe the smile off her face as they were seen outside the swanky Los Angeles hotel.

Looking slightly more casual than his bride, Andrew sported jeans that were ripped at the bottom, and a slightly disheveled black blazer.

Katherine's huge engagement ring was on full show, adding to the overall glistening look of her ensemble.

Her nighttime make-up was natural, with just some shading on her eyes in a similar shade to the gold tone on her dress.

The couple's wedding came after a whirlwind engagement, that happened following just a six-month period of dating.

The pair met when they were both working in New York and began dating in October last year, shortly after she split from Prince Harry’s close friend Adam Bidwell.

Andrew joined Katherine as she collected her OBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace earlier this year.

The operatic star was previously engaged to former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones, who proposed in 2011 - but the couple split later that year.

Wearing a traditional white floor-sweeping gown by Suzanne Neville on her wedding day, the stunning bride looked happy and content in the fairytale number while her man wore a smart black suit and bow tie.

After their wonderful day, the couple embarked on a romantic honeymoon to Marrakech.

But when the couple touched down at London's Gatwick airport following their luxurious one-week trip, they looked like they had a touch of the post-holiday blues.

After touching down on British soil, the opera singer tweeted: 'The endless massages & ginger tea of the Royal Monsour now seem like a dream! Miss you Marrakech... We'll be back soon x.'

However, after Katherine's beaming presence at Chateau Marmont, it looks as though it's all back to happy for the newlyweds.
