Jada Pinkett Smith plays a seductress named Fish Mooney with 'extra-sensory abilities' in Fox's new series Gotham.

The 43-year-old actress certainly warmed the senses as she joined her handsome co-star Ben McKenzie at the 2nd Annual PaleyFest Presents event in New York to chat about their show.

Jada chose a becoming frock of the deepest forest-green suede that, despite its straight cut, modest neckline and hem, gave her a rather devilish air.

A pair of dark-red heels with wide, feathery ankle straps along with a beaded green clutch helped to promote that theory.

Jade wore minimal jewelry, just delicate hoop earrings and a gold bracelet, while her long, waist-length hair was styled in an intricate plait.

The mother-of-two, who has been married to Will Smith for almost 17 years, seemed to be enjoying herself immensely among the company of Ben and others from stylish crime TV series.

Ben, who plays Gotham's young Jim Gordon, was Mr. Cool with a contemporary twist in a silky grey suit, black shirt (and no tie) and new-looking black trainers with snowy-white soles.

The 36-year-old actor didn't mind posing with lovely Jada before heading to the panel discussion to talk about the show, which premiered on September 22.

The event also brought out Donal Logue, who plays GCPD detective Harvey Bullock, and Robin Lord Taylor, who portrays Oswald 'Penguin' Cobblepot.

Zabryna Guevara (Sarah Essen, CGPD homicide squad captain) turned heads too in a black dress with floral-patterned hourglass panel in front, along with sensibly heeled black shoes.

Of course, Jada has been generating lots of interest ever since she was cast as Fish Mooney in the pilot earlier this year before being promoted to series regular.

According to the Fox press release, Fish Mooney is 'a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner, Fish Mooney’s got the street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book. Imposing and hotheaded, she’s not one to be crossed.'

Meanwhile, Jada showed her preference for suede when she stopped by SiriusXM Studios in New York City for a radio interview on October 10.

She was wearing thigh-high black suede boots that featured intricate laces, buckles and zippers.

Jada's footwear was a perfect choice to go with her rather shapeless beige sweater dress.
